Experimenting with erasable inks made for fountain pen
My favourite one is definitely the ladybug one, because I used the eraser for the highlights
I made a bunch of mixes, and I'm surprised at the multitude of technics I could use
For example, what I used for a bunch of doodles: switching between two cartridges (here blue cobalt and pink)
I get a very cool purple gradient, and it's giving headspace!
Then, making mixes by squeezing some ink out of the cartridges on a palette. I managed to make some cool gradient that look all different in very interesting ways when I use the eraser on them!
However, since it's water based, you get leakages (idk how to explain it, like, lighter patches?)
It's very hard to control, and adding too much water when you try to use them like watercolors makes it even harder. It's best to keep them very concentrated unless you know what you're doing
I plan on making a comic on my sketchbook so I'm making a bunch of experiments. Tell me if you have any suggestions!

Pilot FriXion Light Soft Color Erasable Highlighter (6 Color Set)
Closeup of writing and erasing from a Pilot Frixion Ball pen.
Have you seen our latest video on the FriXion line-up?
Happy Halloween everyone!
I've sort of become obsessed with
...a certain kind of pen. It's a ballpoint pen, and it has erasable ink. It's called Frixion(by Pilot), and that's because you remove the ink with this little rubbery(I think..? Could be silicon) thing on the other end of the pen, with the help of friction. It even says on the pen "remove by friction".
I think it's a really neat pen, and I prefer it to a pencil when I write, because ink lasts much longer than lead, it doesn't fade away as fast. And the fact that it's erasable is really great. I think I've collected all the colours that there is in that series of pens. And that makes me proud, for some reason.
