Morning vs. mountains
Land and sea and light and skies, Vancouver Island, last month.
The earthquake and tsunami do not happen. The land holds still, and the sea stays where it is.
A ferocious, rain-drenched tooth-and-claw-and-beak-filled forest wilderness of mountains, rivers, lakes, glaciers, cliffs, beaches, and tourists.
Starting tomorrow: Our second and possibly final visit to Vancouver Island.
I am not, it grieves me to say, working from the Lovecraft anymore.
