Land and sea and light and skies, Vancouver Island, last month.

In honor of Prince, an early look at next weekâs cover, âPurple Rain,â by Bob Staake.
A ferocious, rain-drenched tooth-and-claw-and-beak-filled forest wilderness of mountains, rivers, lakes, glaciers, cliffs, beaches, and tourists.
Starting tomorrow: Our second and possibly final visit to Vancouver Island.

Thereâs more to the story. Continue readingâ
