I heard there’s a good place around here. You’ll be so full that you won’t remember that murderous feeling. What do you say? Do we have an agreement?”

The ice phoenix woke up to complete darkness. Usually he found the dark of the night soothing and calming but the shadows that surrounded him this time were far from safe, nothing like those that embraced him every night. Not only that, but there’s something... someone lurking in them -- he could hear their breath, sometimes even feel it brushing against his skin but when he looked around he could see nothing but pitch black darkness his eyes refused to get used to. Normally by this time he’d already be seeing shapes of things painted in monochrome, but not this time. His eyes flickered and changed their colour into pale blue, then he tried to scan the room again. “Who’s there? What’s going on?”

          There are so many of you I’d like to thank individually, but my appreciation and care towards you all are the same, so I hope this time that so many put down the negatives and thrive in the positives of being together whether as family, or friends is the best yet. -- I haven’t been around often lately, so my list is a bit short though that doesn’t remove my extended wishes towards everyone that follows me and I in return.
