@drhalepitt asked: [ wash ] sender helps wash dried blood off of receivers face.
the patient had caught him off guard. he hadn't expected the sedation to wear off so quickly, but he supposed he should have. he'd come in combative, coming down off something that he wasn't coherent enough to tell them about. metabolizing the sedative that quickly was almost impressive.
it had been a long time since he'd gotten his bell rung that spectacularly. and the second blow from the wall behind him hadn't helped in the slightest. sitting on the floor with the heel of his hand pressed against his temple wasn't the most dignified position to be found in, but at least he was conscious.
there's mild chaos around him but he's having a hard time tracking it all. the usual tinnitus in his right ear was ringing especially loud right now. there's hands on him, he's not sure who's but they're dragging him off the floor and out of the room. there's iron in his mouth and he's not sure if its from his nose or lip. maybe both. sure that he looks like a right horror show being paraded through the central hub.
this was going to be a lot of paperwork.
he's put in a room, the lights are turned off and he's left alone for... well he has no idea really. what he does know is there's suddenly something cold touching his face. a hand shooting up to grip at her wrist before releasing her just as quickly.
"sorry. didn't hear you come in."
