     "Don't talk to me."

     He likes the lilt and tone of the words, but the command might not have been the best one to give, in hindsight: with his teleportation spell gone askew, he doesn't have the slightest clue where he is and he's far too tired to figure out how to get himself home.  He feels distinctly torn between maintaining his immaculate vanity and not being marooned in God-Knows-Where--inevitably, he yields with a skittish, "Wait: first, tell me who you are, where I am, and then don't talk to me."
