absolutely nothing like going through a grueling job search for eleven months (while working a job that's destroying you) and then landing at someplace good... and then eight months later you're looking down the barrel of "should I reenter the torture chamber [job search] again"
#like it's not bad. it's not. which is what matters the most.#which means I'm doing okay. and I'm also sticking it out here for a full year or more.#but this role both has limited capacity for elevating me to a higher role in the org#and the comp issue is beginning to rear its head as the company refuses to address inflation/rising premiums/the heretofore unrealized#COL adjustment I was told of when I was interviewing lol#job searching fucking sucked but maybe it'll suck less when I'm working in a healthy environment#but then of course comes the ''what if I leave a healthy environment for an unhealthy environment for more comp"??#ergh...
