okay go with me on this one:

so in the knuckles series we have a mobian who is struggling to adjust to a new family dynamic and then takes on a human police officer as a sidekick to teach them what it means to be a hero

in wfma, we have a mobian (silver) who is struggling to adjust to a new family dynamic (addition of eclipse) and SHOULD TAKE ON ERIC AS HIS SIDEKICK AND TEACH HIM WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HERO

(Silver would also very helpfully explain things to Eric like ‘this is a restaurant, we eat here but you have to pay for it’ and Eric would say yes I know)

okay but imagine Eric taking silver on a multi-state spanning adventure. IMAGINE THE SHENANIGANS. imagine who much trouble silver is in when he gets home 😂

Silver would be in so much trouble but they'd have so many adventures. He would helpfully explain everything to Eric and teach him around the world!

I think Shadow would try and teleport over to find them, but then he see's the fun Eric and Silver are having and gets sucked into it, lmao

Wade: Eclipse? Yeah, but uh, that won't be for a while. Actually, he and Silver got into a bit of a fight earlier, and now he's gone missing

Eric: Oh, no, yeah, I figured.

Wade: ... He's not.

Eric: He is.

Wade: Oh, fantastic, how did you even find him?

Eric: Well, the thing is, I didn't find him. My dog did.

Wade: WHAT?!

Eric: Uh-huh, and if you don't get here soon, she's also gonna be the one to catch him.

Wade: -hangs up and runs out the door- DAMN IT ECLIPSE!

Eclipse will have to learn one of those days to stay out of people's yards

Wade: Mornings are so crazy, it's a mad dash everyday to get everyone ready, lunches packed, breakfast made and then out the door on time.

Eric: Why don't you meal prep or something on the weekends?

Wade: Because my kids are still there on the weekends

Eric: (shrugs) I think you're taking an occasional nip too personally

Wade, glares at Smokey: you did this on purpose

Smokey, twitches his nose
