Just hold on - Louis Tomlinson, Steve Aoki
Wish that you could build a time machine So you could see The things no one can see Feels like you're standing on the edge Looking at the stars And wishing you were them
What do you do when a chapter ends? Do you close the book and never read it again? Where do you go when your story's done? You can be who you were or who you'll become Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, if it all goes wrong Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, darling just hold on
The sun goes down and it comes back up The world it turns no matter what Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, if it all goes wrong Darling, just hold on
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, darling, just hold on Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh
It's not over 'til it's all been said It's not over 'til your dying breath So what do you want them to say when you're gone? That you gave up or that you kept going on?
What do you do when a chapter ends? Do you close the book and never read it again? Where do you go when your story's done? You can be who you were or who you'll become Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, if it all goes wrong Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, darling just hold on
The sun goes down and it comes back up The world it turns no matter what Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh, if it all goes wrong Darling, just hold on
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh Darling, just hold on Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh If it all goes wrong Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh Darling just hold on
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh oh If it all goes wrong, darling just hold on

"Tori wanted, in the name of privacy and creativity and all of that, to be out of and away from LA, kind of in an isolated environment. So I scouted a location in Taos, New Mexico, and we set up an old hacienda, and did a location production for about ninety percent of the [Under the Pink].
"The house we recorded in had a big, great room that we recorded drums in, and then it had a separate room that was our piano room, and we just ran cables all over the house and shipped equipment out there."
-Eric Rosse, producer.

Tori played 'Bells for Her' on a prepared piano, a term coined by composer John Cage to describe the use of objects placed between or on the strings, or on the hammers or dampers of a piano in order to alter its sound. While Cage did not invent the instrument, he is credited with popularizing it.
The 'Bells for Her' piano was prepared by Eric Rosse and John Philip Shenale.

"Eric and Phil totally destroyed this upright piano, in a wonderful, wonderful way." -Tori Amos, Tea with the Waitress, March 1994.
"Bells for Her" was recorded on an old upright that Phil and Eric demolished or made better I'm not sure." -Tori
