Since we're talking Kings and all already, how about you, Erich? What do you think of King August? Or, as he's also known, August der Starke?

Erich: “Just look at it! It’s beautiful! I’m so happy we got to rebuild these buildings after the war destroyed them. I also got to be best friends with Poland during his reign! But eerr, I wasn’t really a fan of all the wars.”

[Friedrich August I. von Sachsen (or as he’s also called August der Starke) was ruler of Saxony from 1694 till 1733 and also ruler of Poland from 1709 till his death. He was the one that built up Dresden (seen above) and Warsaw into beautiful baroque cities and Dresden actually got the nickname Elbflorenz (Florence at the Elb-river). He was really interested in culture and collecting art, that’s how his collection of obscure objects and art grew very big. Nowadays it can be seen in the museum. Definitley worth a visit!]

Thuringia, who's your favourite neighbour?

Mathilda: “We’ve been through a lot together and I’ve always been close to him it feels like. Plus my other options aren’t really... that interesting, there’s Franz (Bavaria), Rainer (Hesse) and Fritz (Saxony-Anhalt). Nobody really likes Franz, Rainer is sweet but we’re not really close and Fritz can be such...a pain in the butt sometimes and so cranky. Technically Sönke (Lower Saxony) is also my neighbour but barely.”

Erich: “Oh I have fans? Amazing! But yeah, I’ve got a great collection of weird things heh. Something I picked up in the past. I think I was rather inspired by my kings.”

Erich, what dialects do speak? I'm from a region in Saxony called Vogtland and I'd love to know if you know about our dialect. XD PS: Tagchen aus Auerbach! Hoffn mor mal, dass es dor gut get [Hoffen wir mal, dass es dir gut geht]! (The dialect is written pretty shitty, I know, but that's literally how we speak. Mostly my gramps.)
