I named Ericka as Simon, since that name was originally intended for a character in the films. I thought, what if I named him with something that starts with E? But meh, I couldn't think of one I liked.

Could this just be an experiment or an AU? 🥚

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Ericka's character, because I feel she could have had great potential as a villain or antagonist, or better yet, an antihero, but I feel that reducing her to the role of Dracula's second love, love at first sight with enemies to lovers, was cliché and also poorly handled because it was totally predictable.

What I liked about her was, wow, girl, what training, weapons, skills! I wanted to see more action, honestly ✨✨✨✨✨

That's why in my AU version I put this into action (some even think she could be a lesbian, haha).

I feel I could play the role of an independent, strong girl with a moral compass; I feel we need more well-developed characters like that.
