And if Eridany is Lloyd’s Forest Dragon, I hope she plays a role in defeating Nokt and/or Rox. Give her revenge for her mother’s murder.

My theory is that this is Eridany, the daughter of the prior Mountain Dragon Matriarch;

Eridany has the same body type as baby Riyu, and this green dragon has the same face as older Riyu… Not to mention the gold accents.

I found it strange that Doc Wyatt just had a name for this pretty brief, inconsequential character when prompted; He could’ve just ignored the question if he didn’t. But it’d make a lot more sense if Eridany was intended to have a larger role in the future; So like Riyu, she’s going to have a growth spurt in-between seasons.

There was an alleged “leak” regarding the first five episodes of S3, and one of them involves the Dragonians going after the new Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons in the World Forest. It’s possible an older dragon is filling in for Eridany, but it’s more likely this new Matriarch IS Eridany, who’s now big enough to start taking command. And in the sets she’s called a Forest Dragon.

This same leak also predicted the translucent katanas in the sets would be actual collectibles meant to free Thunderfang, which tracks with what the designers confirmed right after; They’re Prismatic Blades meant to free “something.”

Now it’s possible that these are fake and whoever wrote them was paying close attention. They made the descriptions seem more legit by focusing on things that most fans, who create fake descriptions, would overlook in favor of more obvious, fan-servicey stuff. And tbf these descriptions still lean into that territory by just revealing Jay/Rogue right off the bat, as well as Pixal’s return!

But I’m not sure if anyone really clocked the clear katanas as being collectibles, nor the relevance of Eridany. So it’s possible these details were included to seem more legit. Or rather they mean the descriptions ARE more legit.

In the end, the descriptions don’t tell us anything new; They only mention things we already know about. So Pixal’s return, the Dragonians, Eridany being last seen in the World Forest, etc. So that could be a red flag. But regardless of whether the descriptions are true, I think just the speculation of Eridany as this new set is viable. The only issue is that the set doesn’t have the crown…

We know matriarch crowns can be removed, and I believe Eridany’s mother didn’t just die from this, but also from receiving a dual beat down from Nokt and Rox right after. So maybe Eridany has removed hers to prevent it from being misused. And/or it’ll just be a set discrepancy. This dragon might not even show up, like Lloyd’s mech from last year. But the use of the word “Forest” really makes you think…
