Erika I don’t know what I'd do without you (especially with time zones :P). You make me laugh so so hard, even about things I'm miserable about. You decided to be my friend

I’m not sure why but I’ll be forever grateful. You get my movie references and make me cooler daily even though I don’t get your movie references sometimes because you're old and I can't help it

Don’t worry, I'm nearing your age range now so I'm struggling with my memory and everything too, it’s gonna become less mocking and more commiserating soon

Personally I like to think of it as yes, we’re old now but we totally keep getting further into Tom Hiddleston’s possible dating age range so that’s a win.

And if we can't bag him we can always chill in the old age home waiting to bag a hot CW star about to get his own spinoff

I somehow can’t believe it’s been an entire year since I was sitting in class and thought ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be rad if I could talk to some of the people I know from Tumblr on an instant, regular basis?’ (This all because I saw an Enzo lookalike -- oh Enzo, at least you served me one positive purpose in life) From there a post on tumblr, then working out international phone numbers and bada bing, I had myself a family even though I didn’t know it yet.

Klarochat must be the most codependent friendship in this fandom (no, seriously, it’s practically a rule to keep your phone on you at all times because we can’t cope without each other). From daily ‘I’m hungry’ texts, to being cornered for unjustified feels attacks, to helping with creative endeavours; discussing work, family, studying, makeup and boy issues -- we’re always there for each other.

The cray stuff we discuss has me blushing and giggling on a daily basis, be it because of the klunnery, eggplants, sex talks, dementors or bad reviews. The (seven!!) hours I have to wait for y’all to wake up is generally the worst part of my day (-- hey, I did say we were codependent) and I blame you for at least half of the times I stayed awake past 3am this past year (Klarobesties living in the past is rough on one’s sleep schedule).

We urge each other on, help each other, complement each other (though mostly Erika because she makes kickass edits for those of us who can only write), make fun of each other (again Erika, but this time because she’s old), comment on crazy bedtimes (we know the ins and outs of each other’s lives so you know you’re gonna get a brow raised if you’re up at a strange hour), and often put each other to bed (mostly Gail bc youngest lol).

Brynne, you’re so far in the future that you almost always miss us but we cherish your lone messages; Giulia with your adorable turtles and ducks and fangirling; and Monika get your ass in here already. Gail I don’t know how you know everything about everybody but you do and I’m pretty sure you’re the youngest only by years, especially with that highly functioning smutdar. Vic you’re freaking hilarious and your presence always brings a lovely levity to the group and no we will never stop teasing about you and Gaz -- beware, ratings will be going dowwwwn this season. Erika you have the sexiest voice with the mouth of a pirate (metaphorically -- literally, your mouth is my envy with all those amazing lip colours I one day will be stealing) and on point editing skills. Kaitlyn you’re ever the optimist yet also the most dangerous with all your sob-inducing feels you force on us, never mind the amazing fluff you write... And I’m the one who can never leave all these crazies alone (seriously, you should see what these people get up to in the 5 hours I sleep -- I have stopped eating or drinking in the mornings when I catch up on my messages to reduce chances of spittakes).

It’s honestly amazing (and, ngl, really lucky) how much we have in common. Hating TO, love for makeup, detesting Steroline, and we even love many of the same shows (and ships!). Selfies are abound as well as food pics, fic pics and LP saying Take it back.

Klarochat really isn’t just a Whatsapp group. It’s a lifestyle.

Thank you, truly, eriberry89​, she-walked-away​, goonergal81 and werethesamecaroline for being a daily essential part of my life.

And of course I have to thank the absolute perfection that made this all possible -- Klaroline, you rock. Thank you for helping us find each other, bond with each other, and giving us constant reasons to grieve and rejoice in equal measure. Thanks for helping me meet my incredible Klarobesties.

"Oh, get on with it already!" Rebekah chucked a fork at her on the stage and Caroline ducked barely in time to miss it. Klaus rolled his eyes before grabbing Rebekah's wrist.

"Do that again and I'll be forced to break your fingers."

"Whipped," Rebekah mutters and Klaus turns to respond to her before hearing Caroline's voice yelling.

"KLAUS ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION OR NOT?"

He glares at Rebekah before turning around and sending Caroline a smile.

"Of course I am, sweetheart," he says to her in what he hopes is in an adoring tone.

Ohhh gosh. If you know me you know whipped Klaus is my favourite and Rebekah is right, he so totally is in this. Kaitlyn writes the best ever humour and I swear, literally every single time Good Girls Go Bad comes up on my playlist (which it does because of this fic) I smile so broadly and giggle a little to myself imagining Caroline and Marcel rapping to it.
