Georgie's living by herself for the first time in her life, and it's a struggle. She signs up for an app that helps people from within her building connect with each other, and ends up finding common ground with apartment 482. Georgie and 482 really hit it off, except 482 is Melanie King, who publicly tore down Georgie's podcast in an interview and has never apologised. As Jon drags Georgie to hang out with his friends from work, and Georgie falls a little bit more in love with 482 in every conversation, will she ever figure out it's Melanie? Will Melanie ever figure out that she's been talking to Georgie this whole time? And will they reconcile, or will it all go down in flames?

hey so I just posted my first ever Big Bang submission!! I participated in the Rusty Quill Big Bang this year (thank you @pilesofnonsense for organising!!) and it was both the hardest and most fulfilling thing I've ever done.

I wrote for The Magnus Archives, and I really hope that anyone who reads my fic enjoys it!!

Also, my fic was illustrated by the absolutely fabulous @morning-softness!! go check them out, their art style is adorable and I love their art so much!!

i call an uber and i hope it costs too much money and takes too long to get here and cancels too many times and you offer me your couch for the night. i say i should probably go too when the last of our friends say it and i get ready to walk down and i hope that you ask me to stay and i hope that you ask me if im sure and i hope that you ask me if my uber is too expensive.

i have the money and i can pay it but god tonight i hope my uber is too expensive.

i hope i have an excuse to sleep on your couch and maybe wear your clothes and definitely exist in your orbit for a little longer. i almost definitely won’t do anything about it but i’ll think about it to myself and i’ll feel guilty and i’ll curl up on your couch under your blanket in your clothes with your pillow and think of you in your bedroom and think maybe one day i’ll be brave enough that i can sleep in your bed with you.

guys i love getting a little ficlet idea and then sitting down to just do some writing for it (genuinely this was meant to be like. 1000 words max) and suddenly it's a fleshed out 5+1 fic and the outline is longer than what the original fic was meant to be. anyway exciting things coming (for me) i will finally be posting again on ao3 😼😼

ever woke with a start from a dream that felt far too real

of being dragged through the streets by soldiers

and nailed to a cross

left to hang while his mother wept?

and Joseph held him close as he wept

and Mary overheard his pleas for an answer

reminiscent of his dreams as a six year old

realising they were never dreams but prophecy?

was be six years old again

climbing into their bed after a nightmare

heavy in his bones in a way he could never put into words?

dead alive? dead alive dead alive

woke with a start in a cave

alone

praying it was a nightmare

only to look down at his hands

holey

bloody

painful 

and weep

only to press his fingers to his pulse

and feel

nothing?
