The author will make it obvious that a male character is shitty but the audience will still chose to blame and hate the second female character of the story who's powerless because she can't help FL. I am so tired of the misogyny in otome isekai fandom
We complain about the lack of friends for the FL but maybe they don't have anyone beside a worshipping maid because the audience itself hate every other female characters who dare have nuance and not be totally into FL's side
But of course the ML will abuse and kill her is fine since he's hot
