Erminewish had a good relationship with her adopted father and former mentor, Pheasantflame. From the day she chose to make him her parent, she resolved to be a happy daughter and a model warrior of BoarClan

Things changed after she was chosen as Cleric— and someone else, Silkenmane, was promoted alongside her. Out of desperation, she sought out HemlockClan’s Cleric, Mothgleam, to allow herself a bargaining chip. However, the two formed a genuine relationship— built on equality and trust.

Things changed on the night of the Half-Moon Gathering— where Erminewish and Silkenmane were forbidden to attend. Erminewish chose to sneak out, followed by her foster siblings. Little did they know that at that moment, Pheasantflame was a member of a patrol tasked with kidnapping Mothgleam and taking her back to BoarClan camp.

When they returned to camp, Erminewish was so wracked with grief and exhaustion over what she discovered that she collapsed in the middle of camp. Pheasantflame, in a moment of clarity, realized how much he messed up.

It took time, and a lot of talking with other cats— but the two managed to express their issues with each other and what led up to the actions they both took. And their relationship was ever stronger for it.

Happy Pride Month Bloomtide! For this, I decided to draw Erminewish and Mothgleam, my favorite doomed yuri from @thewildrest-wcrp!

This is how things used to be.

Once, there were three young cats; Stagpaw, Meadowpaw, and Erminekit. Together, the three were a happy family.

Now, Stagcharge and Meadowblaze refused to even speak to each other— and Erminewish desperately wanted their family to be back together.

But would things change now that Erminewish was chosen as BoarClan Cleric?

Or would things become even worse?

Thoughts like those made Erminewish nostalgic for the way things used to be.
