Played for nearly two hours and sweat through two different tank tops... My legs are dead... 🍗🍗 What did I think about these? 👟 Well, first off, I laced them up without the top loop at first, and it definitely had a little slippage in there. I played with it like that for 4 games before I took off the shoes (got ready to leave). They finished their game pretty quickly, and someone had to leave- so I jumped back in. One of those "I'm pretty much running on empty, but I hate it when people say no when we need only one" basketball mentality.. So I jumped right back in. I probably ran at 50% speed before I began to feel a cramp in my calves. Finished off the game and went home. Now time to eat, rest, foam roll... As for the shoes? I haven't felt the top loaded zoom air break in just yet- the traction and heel lockdown are the two things I noticed most. Traction is fine with the solid rubber and herringbone pattern. Lockdown is pretty good, (but unfortunately for this shoe, I'm comparing it to the Jordan Westbrook why not 0.1, and that heel lockdown is perfect). Upon lacing them up the second time though, I looped the top eyelets and suddenly the ankle wiggle room disappeared. I'll have to give them another solid go later this week. If you can get your hands on these, and have the $175 to spend, I can see these breaking in and becoming your go-to shoe.
