Roxanni smiled warmly at the student in her office, who was finally starting to calm down. They were really shaken up when they first entered but it was nothing a good talk and having a pet in your lap can't fix.

"Don't be too hard on yourself, dementors can be really scary," Roxy said, handing the kid a box of tissues. "You should never be ashamed for being scared of something. You wanna know what I feared when I was your age? Wasps. Nasty little buggers." She dramatically shook her head, as if the thought of the insect alone was frightening her. 

"Wasps are annoying," The student muttered. "Too darn spiteful."

"Right?" Roxy nodded with a small smile. "I happen to know a spell that can fend them off. Um, Dementors I mean, not wasps, to get back to the point." She said, chuckled slightly as she noticed the student suppressing a laugh.

"You can laugh at me, I don't mind," The counselor chuckled as she grabbed her wand. "You know the Patronus charm? That'll be like a shield against them. You just have to think of your happiest memory." She said and waved her wand around, creating a soft blue mist that seemed to dance around the room before disappearing.

"The happier the memory, the stronger the spell," She said, smiling at the student. "It's a Defensive charm, you can ask professor Apollo about it if you want more information. Or you could just bother Madam Pince in the library."

The student chuckled and gently picked Nemo, Roxy's bunny, up and placed him on the desk. "I will, Mrs. Kim, thank you!" The kid walked to the door but seemed hesitant.

Roxy patiently waited, not wanting to pressure them into doing something they'd be uncomfortable with.

"Mrs. Kim?"

"Yes?" 

"Can you create a corporeal one? A Patronus, I mean."

Roxy smiled at the question and nodded. "I can, do you want to see it?"

Before she even reached the end of the sentence the student was back on the seat across her, eagerly awaiting the demonstration. "What animal is it?"

"You'll see," Roxy grinned as she focused on what made her the happiest.

It didn't take long before she found it, all it took was some thinking. Early sunsets up the astronomy tower, trumpet music playing in the back of her mind as she thought of a certain snarky auror. 

"It's a cat!" The voice of the student said, almost breaking Roxy's concentration but the surprise on her face was evident.

A cat? Her Patronus wasn't a cat. Her Patronus, her inner animal, had been a Dolphin since the day she first managed to cast the spell.

She managed to blink her surprise away long enough to wave the student out of the door. As soon as it closed, she felt her face heating up.

Her own Patronus was a Dolphin, of that she was sure. But it had changed. Into a cat of all things.

As the former Ravenclaw cast the Patronus charm once more, making sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her, the cat appeared once more.

Roxy couldn't contain her laughter as she started to realize why it turned into a cat. A siberian cat.

Oh, she could only imagine the look on her dear sour-patch's face.

Roxy: Oh, my favourite regular. Same as always?

Erik: Do you still need to ask?

I would absolutely love to hear about Erik and Roxy for the Pirate AU~. 😏🏴‍☠️

Oh~ *cracks knuckles* Let's go 😏

So taking inspiration from your pirates of the carribean AU~

I feel like Erik, similair to his guardian figure would work for the navy at first but then learn the monarch is corrupted as heck and turn to piracy cause screw corrupt goverments~

And then Roxy would be the noble (cause nah she aint royal XD), who always wanted to travel the seven seas and in a stupor of fooliah confidence would try to sneak into a pirate ship, where she'd definetely be found by a certain Sour Patch captain 😌

I had to Google 'Jello shots' for this! I've never even had regular shots ^^; I'm pretty tame u_u
