this show is not what it seems

IDK what’s up with this disturbing duality of the show (i have my guesses but... they are just guesses) but my final judgement of this show is:

It’s definitely not for kids.

 Episode after episode they brought up HELLA DISTURBING thoughs and themes only covered in a wallpaper of colourful sugar rushes and farts and puffy silly artstyle and anime-jokes...

 but you can’t just cover “Everyone comes here to commit suicide by asking me to eat them alive” with the maincharacter looking like “two beachballs shoved together”, no kid has that short an attention span to not notice it WHEN THE CHARACTER HERSELF SAYS IT CLEAR AS DAY

HOW DID THIS SHOW GET AWAY WITH THESE THEMES?

Netflix’s everstanding joke keeps standing “Hello, this is Netflix you’re greenlit”

So i’ve been thinking about that ep10 hug a lot… and i know nothing’s gonna happen, but oh, wouldn’t it be nice if the hug would linger a bit and last like uncomfortably long and daryl would turn his head a bit and mumble “i love you” into carol’s ear (like in that tone that it sounds like “just friends” kind of love) but then they’d pull out of the embrace and look at each other and carol would say “i love you too” like in more SERIOUS tone and then… i have to think about this a bit more.
