Morning, lad. Here we are about to hit town and we've barely spoken more than the laughs around the campfire and the taunts aimed at your brethren. Would it be too late for me to strike up some conversation with you now, knight?
Curious as to what you're looking forward to most over the next few days here in Bloodhaven? The food, the tourneys, the people? Certainly going to be an abundance of handsome folk wandering about the streets, think you might indulge in some fun away from home? You let me know if no one's catching your eye, lad. I'd be happy to play a few games with you to pass the time
@he-covets
Well-met, good Cove, I’m happy to get to know each other better before the festivities begin in earnest. It is a shame we haven’t yet spoken much, but I have no doubt of your good character. Our jester seems to like you very much, and I trust their judgement… generally.
As for what has me the most excited for Bloodhaven, I’ll say it’s the opportunity to prove myself. I am still relatively green as a knight, and the tournament gives me a number of chances to show my skills in battle. And anyway, I do genuinely enjoy the art of combat, so I imagine it will simply be fun, too.
Though I won’t pretend that the… social aspect of this event doesn’t intrigue me as well. You may have noticed I’m not usually the type to initiate, unless the recipient has made it clear that they wish me to. With that said, I will admit that I harbour hope for some fun liaisons throughout the festivities.
And I will remember your offer, Cove. You can be sure of that.
Sir Errant
