Things currently pissing me off
1. My dress is being all weird. All the pieces have been cut properly but they don't fit. It SHOULD fit. *ragequit* I need to finish this by Saturday. >_> <_<
2. Homework. Grades. Ew. They are. Disgusting.
3. When people think I'm soooo rich so it's okay if they don't repay me. This one girl owes me sixty dollars from last year and one of my friends owes me an iPod but it's clearly okay because I'm rich and because I have so many iPods and an iPhone and and laptop. Errk.
The iPods and all that stuff were gifts from my uncle, who has no wife and no kids. This doesn't mean I'm rich. It just means I'm lucky. Does this mean that because I have so much I shouldn't be repaid? Do banks just give out money?
And for gog's sake, I AM NOT RICH.
So yeah, I live in the North Shore. Clearly I'm rich, right? Right?
This place costs a lot to live in. For people who aren't swimming in money, living in Illinois costs a lot. In this state, people pay higher taxes than most states. My brother takes classes at Northwestern University and Lake Forest Academy. Those places aren't cheap.
My father is unemployed. We are a family of six, living off a woman's salary. My mother cannot, I repeat, cannot fluently speak English. Think about it. A woman who cannot properly speak English being the sole income for a family of six people. And yet she still sends my brother and I to expensive, prestigious institutions on the weekends for classes.
And yet everyone thinks I'm some snobby rich girl with all this money to spend on everything and all these expensive items. What do you know.
