I thought viscount was Vsc.? And I think Vc. is vicar. One thing I like about Vs. is that it's already an abbreviation-- when English speaking people see the word they automatically think "verse" or "versus." I like that cause Ms. makes you think of "miss" and "missus" interchangeably too.
But when I first saw it written down it did call to mind dusty old white dudes with creepy manor houses... so that's probably bad.
