Papyrus AU random facts~.
Papyrus actually has a small sewing studio. A lot of people don’t know that because of his height and size he makes a lot of of his own clothing so anytime you see him in something that you like and you give him a compliment he takes that as the highest degree of a compliment because he made that himself.
Edge has a part-time job as a five star Michelin chef. Nobody knows this. Somehow without anybody ever figuring it out he not only displayed his cooking skills to a very upscale restaurant, but he is the person that they call when everything goes wrong. If they have a high profile celebrity coming or somebody they have to impress such as a delegate from a foreign country or literally anybody with some kind of authority or power they call him and they will desperately request him to come in, and because he is very proud of himself in his work he will go, but nobody ever catches him. It’s only when he comes home with an award one day. Does anybody realize that he actually does something other than his normal job as a police officer?
Stretch runs a Pilates and yoga class. It kind of started as a joke because he doesn’t really do a lot of exercise so he would go to the gym, and nobody really knew what he did there because they assumed he wasn’t going there to exercise. But his brother ends up finding him one day because he wanted to know why he was going to the gym and sees him running this class. And it’s pool based because it’s a lot easier on him. And he is actually very proud of it. Enough that he ends up making a special class for pregnant humans and monsters and working with Sci on what yoga poses and Pilates in the water would be best and safest for all of them
Sweets, the horrortale papyrus, ended up getting a job at the dentist. Because the first thing that his brother took him to do when they made it free, was to fix his teeth because of his self-conscious feeling about how they look from everything that they went through down there. And once they were fixed, he was so eternally grateful that he decided to go to school and become a dentist, but only for people who cannot afford normal dentistry. He has one of the best clinics that anybody runs in the entire city. But his primary patients will always be people who can’t afford dentistry or people who have small children who are scared of the dentist. Because that’s why he got into it in the first place. He wanted to help people and he is determined to do so no matter what
Echo, the errorrale papyrus, has a hard time sitting in with anybody at first due to the nature of himself, and due to the fact that he largely cannot remember his own past. But after he finds himself and fits in with everybody else, he too finds a hobby. Whittling.  he made the first one by accident. Listening to one of his counterparts talk he was holding a small block of wood that he had picked up from who knows where on their walk and started subconsciously carving into it with his claws and ended up making a carving of the person that he had been talking to at the time who was classic papyrus. Who immediately asked to keep it, of course and encouraged him to pursue his new interest. And that mainly turned into making selling and creating little wooden sculptures for money he didn’t think he was ever going to need or want.
Mafia Papyrus, the classic mafia version (not mafia fell), probably had the hardest time out of everybody at first for fitting it. Because his version of the underground never had monsters trapped. His version actually had them free and living alongside humans for quite a long time. But with that being said they were all stuck in an era that felt very similar to the 30s and 40s of our time. So when he ends up in your world where everything is very modern and not progressively stuck, he’s not quite sure what to do with himself. But if there is one thing about every single papyrus, no matter where they’re from or who they are, they are all fantastic actors. And that happens to really come into play for himself once he is settled. He makes a speakeasy. An acting display. Where people and monsters can come and drink specialized cocktails and drinks while actors act out scenes from the different themes and timelines.
