Answer this with ten random facts about yourself and then pass it on to your ten favorite followers (ノ⊙ヮ⊙)ノ
Yay! <3
1. I’m afraid of trains. I have no reason for this, I’ve never experienced anything traumatizing on a train, they just kind of frighten me. I still think train tracks and old engines are really pretty though, and living in a place with big train history makes me want to do photoshoots on the tracks despite this weird fear.
2. I’m a fake vegetarian. I say I’m a vegetarian because it’s easier and because I rarely eat meat and won’t order it in restaurants or cook it for myself, but as it was a decision made due to a natural progression of meat aversion and not necessarily ethics, if Billy has something that just smells really good I’ll try a very small bite, and I don’t mind meat being cooked in with my food as long as I can easily pick it out. I also eat fish.
3. My husband is almost 14 years older than me. The first time I met him was in college when he used to come visit my roommate to support her on the shows she worked on (we were both theatre majors). She saw him as a father figure. >_<
4. I have not used shampoo or conditioner on my hair in about three years. I do apple cider vinegar rinses instead.
5. I played the piano and violin until I graduated high school, and was quite good at both. I still practice from time to time, and wish I had not fallen out of that as I truly miss being musical.
6. I cry really, really easily.
7. I am horrendously squeamish around blood. I can’t watch it on movies or tv or even hear stories about injuries without getting physically weak and nauseous. I had to leave the room when I was doing substitute teacher training because the bloodborne pathogens video was about to make me pass out.
8. When I was in first grade and living in Arizona I was a spokesperson for our county’s youth water conservation organization. Those environmentalist beginnings never went away.
9. I’m a really, really good cook. This isn’t bragging. This is just the one thing in my life I have always had complete confidence in. If it weren’t for the hours involved, I would love nothing more than to own my own restaurant.
10. I am very much a creature of the sun. December is miserable for me, and there is no holiday I celebrate more enthusiastically than the winter solstice. When Billy and I go camping in the summer I can easily wake up at 6am all on my own just because that’s when the sun comes up, and my mood is very closely linked to the amount of actual sunshine I am able to experience. Also, I hate cold weather. I start wearing long sleeves once the temperature drops below about 85.
