‘I choose you’
Lightning was frustrated, her pink/lavender fur prickled and forked tail thrashed through the air. She didn’t understand what exactly had happened to her- other than the fact that she had woken up like this and found it immensely irritating. Her eyes snapped towards her front door Bracing herself moments before the door knob began to turn- Sensing moments before that it was going to- and not further sensing exactly who it was going to be walking through that door.
The pokemon before her seems to have gone from defensive to exasperated. The Espeon’s next action gave Fang pause for consideration. Yeah, she’s her trainer’s girlfriend, but the pokemon never acted this affectionate towards her. Something rather seemed off, and is it her imagination or does Espeon seem to have a bit of size difference from when she last seen her. Perhaps a little taller?
Fang knelt down to Espeon’s level and scratched ‘Espeon’ behind her ear. “Ya aren’t her Espeon, ya are a little taller and a newly caught pokemon wouldn’t be this friendly to someone they don’t know and intrudin’. That and I’da probably heard if Light caught antoher…”
Fang blinked when the sensory from the bond they shared told her something. Light was close. She felt like this when they were together in the same room and it felt like Light was RIGHT THERE!!!
Fang looked around for a moment and not seeing her partner she blinked. Then looked back to the pokemon with a confused look on her face. “No way… Hang on… I need to check for something.”
It couldn’t be… The hand that scratched the ear now moved to Espeon’s neck, gently moving the fur. Seeing normal skin tone for Espeon and then the discoloration that signified Reshiram’s brand.
“Holy shit!!!” Fang breathed. “Ya look great as an Espeon, but I like you as a human better. Any idea how it happened?”
