Thinking about Tommy--shortly after the breakup--not being able to stay away, but not being able to admit to himself (let alone Buck) that he made a mistake, because his mind hasn't changed--not really--even if it does feel like he ripped out his own heart and left it broken and bloody on Buck's kitchen floor.

So he shows up at Buck's a week later. When Buck opens the door, he gets that same stunned, breathless look on his face he had the first time Tommy showed up. "T-Tommy?"

All Tommy has to say is "Evan" and Buck's dragging him through the door and pushing him up against it and Tommy puts all his effort into keeping Buck's mouth busy so he can't ask what this is about, can't ask Tommy to take him back because Tommy knows he will without a second thought and he just can't, so he takes Buck to bed instead and lets him take him apart--begs him, really, but he tries hard to forget what he sounded like face down in Buck's sheets that still smell like them. After, he leaves Buck in bed with that same confused, hurt look on his face he had when Tommy was walking out the door and Buck asked if he was breaking up with him. He leaves before Buck says something to make him stay and he hates himself and he hopes Buck hates him too and that if he ever shows up again, Buck will just slam the door in his face (he tells himself he's not going to show up again).

But he does, of course he does. A week later. And Buck doesn't slam the door in his face, but he leaves him in the hallway for an uncomfortable amount of time--an internal war playing out on his face. "Is this all I am to you now?"

Tommy can't tell him the truth, but he can't make himself lie either. An apology would be worse. Silence isn't better, but it's the only thing holding him together.

Buck opens the door wider, lets him inside. "If you want it so bad, maybe I should make you beg for it, huh? Like you were begging last week." He pushes down on Tommy's shoulders and Tommy drops to the floor at his feet, looking up at Buck with wide, wet eyes. Buck curls his hand in Tommy's hair. "Want me to fuck your greedy little hole? Hmm? Want me to come inside you? Plug you up and send you home full of my cum?"

Tears are streaming down Tommy's face. His throat bobs as he nods. He tries to look down, but Buck tilts his face up.

"Then beg."
