♋, ☏
♋ What drew you to this muse?
Oh gosh, this is so ridiculous. So, I was wanting to get into the New 52 stuff, and a friend recommended Green Lantern Corps. Immediately when I began reading, I identified with Guy. He was interviewing for a position as a HS Football coach (which is my goal after I'm done with school.) I wanted to know more, so I investigated and identified even more with his origins. We're both former college football players, we both lost our fathers to addiction, he was a physical education teacher (my major). I just saw a lot of myself in his character, and I feel like there is so much more to the character than a meathead with a power ring.
☏ What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?
With Guy, the hard part is not injecting too much of myself into the character when I write. I've caught myself trying to make him less of a hotheaded mess, at times.
erstwhilecompanion replied to your post “I'm your future wife.”
"I would hope that in time I prove to be a worthy companion," she murmured, a soft smile playing on her lips.
He smiled, "Sure ya will."
"I'm your future wife."
"Could do worse, I guess," he said, grinning despite his rude comment.
