despite everything between them, kenny and levi both being gay and actively having partners is a hysterical concept to me
- kenny talking to erwin often contains a thinly veiled threat if he has to hear from levi about something erwin did. or otherwise rhetorically asking levi how he puts up with “this guy” (as if erwin is anything except low-maintenance or a provider🙏😭). he just feels secretly protective and doesn’t want anyone else to fuck levi over. especially since kenny is generally of the opinion that levi is heartless, and he knows what it takes to let his walls down around somebody.
-when levi and erwin get married, after the wedding kenny literally DOES say he will kill erwin if he hurts levi. to his credit he tells him this face-to-face and not during his (short) speech.
- levi thought it was a joke when he first heard about uri, and then he thought kenny was lying when erwin told him. he had to meet him in real life and eyed kenny suspiciously most of the time.
- he lowkey got an existential crisis from it.
- he’s surprised by how well he got along with uri from the start. it took a long time for levi to understand how they work for each other, but it helped when he listened to uri express it.
-levi sees uri as a good influence, and they're good friends. uri just gets along with everyone.
- levi and kenny are both majorly anti-pda - levi gets embarrassed and kenny gets SECRETLY embarrassed
- but erwin respects this while uri does it anyway and gets away with it somehow. erwin isn’t even salty about it though because he cares more about levi’s comfort than his own pride.
- kenny asks levi for relationship advice more than one might think, which was once. "there are some things even I don't get."💀he wants to know how to 'win' an argument once one happens because truthfully he and uri don't get into major disagreements. ...however levi's guess is as good as his because he and erwin never have major conflicts either. kenny initially calls levi useless but he reels the insult back and says he'll ask someone who actually knows (google). (he probably doesn't need this information.)
- all of their friends find both levi and kenny being in a gay relationship really funny for how much they seem to disagree on everything and constantly get into petty squabbles with each other. levi and kenny do NOT find this funny until kenny notices that it bothers levi so he leans into it. or he would, but he "doesn't stoop down to their level"💀
