Surviving was all he had left. All he needed to do was keep breathing, that’s all he could do anymore. His emotions were all jumbled and messed up, his thoughts didn’t want to work anymore, instead, he was forced to just blankly continue on, exhaustion ebbing at his head. Maybe that seemed over-dramatic to others but that was how he felt, and part of him believed he’d never be able to feel any other way.
The teen drew to a stop on the pathway, not bothering to move out the way for people as they walked past, rather, he was too busy staring down at the can of soft drink in his hand. The taste hardly registered in his mind and he didn’t exactly seem to care when he managed to awkwardly spill it on someone as they walked past. Tadashi’s gaze remaining transfixed elsewhere as he took yet another sip from the can before crushing it in his hand and throwing it backwards over his head.
