With a serious look of deep contemplation, Momoka stared at the face of coal and ice smiling up at her, observing the snowman from the tip of it’s carrot nose to the the top of it’s hat. It wasn’t that she thought it was badly made; on the contrary, whoever had made it had taken the utmost care in creating this winter delight and it’s craftsmanship was to be applauded! No, that wasn’t the issue at all.
It was just... she couldn’t remember if she had ever seen a snowman before. And that didn’t seem right. But any memory not spent in the spring just seemed so fuzzy--
The head fell off.
She blinked and waved a hand over the headless torso before panic had settled in. The head fell off!! Quickly, she scrambled to put the snow man back together but in the process, the once jovial fellow was looking like a lump of anguish, the coals of the smiles slipping into a mismashed frown. And now making matters worse, it seemed someone had appeared just as she was fixing it.
“T-This isn’t vandalism! It was an accident! I-It moved on its own!”

In some ways, this place wasn’t so different from home. At least in the sense that it was a constantly bustling city, and that the citizenry came in many different shapes and sizes. If anything, it was the more plain ones that gave him cause to pause. Before, it was rare he had ever seen someone without any animal or inhuman features. Now, they were the majority of what he came across.
Still, he kept his curious glances brief. It wasn’t anything of much consequence, in the end. After his own horn had attracted a few too-long stares, it seemed only polite to not follow the same example.
In fact, he hardly paid anyone any mind until he was in the train station and peering at maps from behind a crowd. He only did it for a moment, though, before frowning and deciding they were too far to bother.
That left one quicker option; setting a hand on a nearby shoulder to get someone’s attention.
“The shopping district. Do you know which sector it’s in?”

Surviving was all he had left. All he needed to do was keep breathing, that’s all he could do anymore. His emotions were all jumbled and messed up, his thoughts didn’t want to work anymore, instead, he was forced to just blankly continue on, exhaustion ebbing at his head. Maybe that seemed over-dramatic to others but that was how he felt, and part of him believed he’d never be able to feel any other way.
The teen drew to a stop on the pathway, not bothering to move out the way for people as they walked past, rather, he was too busy staring down at the can of soft drink in his hand. The taste hardly registered in his mind and he didn’t exactly seem to care when he managed to awkwardly spill it on someone as they walked past. Tadashi’s gaze remaining transfixed elsewhere as he took yet another sip from the can before crushing it in his hand and throwing it backwards over his head.

“Excuse me,” Normally she wouldn’t be the type to start something first, but...She can’t just let the guy walk around like everything is okay. “Sir, you have...Something on your hair.” She’s not sure what it is, but she wouldn’t want to walk around with something on her hair so she’s sure someone else wouldn’t. Maybe.

「 ♔.❝ Hey. ❞ Of course she wouldn’t shout out a name for she didn’t know the boy’s name at all. Putting a hand on his shoulder would sure enough to grab his attention if ‘ hey ‘ wasn’t enough. ❝ That belongs to me, ❞ she’d speak as she would pluck the knife from his hands and swiftly place it back among her other items on her person. A loop had broken off and many of her belongings had fallen out, and now she believed she had found all of what had fallen. Hopefully anyway. ❝ Kids don’t need to hold these, should have just left it on the ground or put it off to the side. ❞
