I return with another offering. I wanted to play with perspective--draw something from a low-angle--and my silly brain latched onto Eli's introduction heart event.

Eli is from Eli & Dylan, an add-on mod for East Scarp. I adore the Morays so damn much, to the point that one of my revamps of Changes (which I swear I'm still working on) was so I could include them. If you play modded Stardew and haven't picked it up yet, I strongly recommend it. 💖

These are all small details of the mod, but I just LOVE that when we talk to Eli at Egg festival (the usual speech bubble when you want to talk to a specific NPC), his younger brother Dylan immediately joins the conversation, even though we haven't clicked on him to talk yet. When Thistle, Dylan's crow and friend, tells the farmer to choose a partner at the Flower festival, after which our farmer JUMPS a little on the spot and gives an bashful emote from above. The cutscenes with these brothers are so well done, the underwater world is shown in such detail when we watch the events with Dylan, characters from Expanded, Ridgeside Village and Sunberry Village mods included to the max in Eli and Dylan's events, the brothers' interesting and hilarious dialogues in general and their reactions to our gifts. This mod is so wonderful, the author did such a great job with this custom NPCs, I LOVE ELI & DYLAN MOD SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Spoilers for East Scarp (Eli & Dylan mod):

So according to Eli and Dylan's mod lore, Farmer doesn't just happen to be in some people's dreams (Emily's, and Dylan's later) - they can directly pry into other people's dreams, like in that one SpongeBob episode lol. I also like how Dylan immediately says, "....This isn't the first time you've doing that, is it?" Lmao, he knows Farmer too well, I love this nerd.

And Eli can visit other people's dreams too, interesting..... It's funny to think that both brothers could also see Farmer's dreams if they want to...

You know, my Farmer doesn't usually put Lewis's underwear in the display at the Stardew Valley Fair festival, but I was wondering if there was a unique reaction from the two brothers and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is :3

Eli cackles like a madman and slowly dies, making the sound of a boiling kettle, while Dylan asks why mayor's underpants are on Farmer's display and thinks that he seems to be the only mature person here. Only after that it's written that Dylan tries to make serious face but breaks down and starts smiling 😁
