Askbox is closed for headcanon request. There is something interesting here (maybe?). Obsessed with SDV and mods. I write headcanons for Stardew Valley, Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village and East Scarp. You can call me Mouse or Mousey! Late 20s
Welcome to my Masterlist! Here you will find links to my headcanons for Stardew Valley and mods. You can call me Mousey, or Mouse, or Mousy, or... whatever 😅
Before sending me an ask, please read the rules for my blog 👈👈👈👈
Last Masterlist update: 03.07.2026
Request status: CLOSED for headcanons requests
All headcanons are divided into vanilla version of the game and expansion mods for Stardew Valley*.
Here are some explanations of my masterlist terms, so you don't get confused:
General headcanons - there are headcanons where 3> characters were requested (for example, all SDV bachelors).
Specific headcanons - headcanons about a specific NPC (usually 1 or 2)
Some random headcanons - my short headcanons, not at the request from people/anons.
Other headcanons - this is where I'll include headcanons that don't fit into any category or I don't yet know which list to put them in.
The lists will be constantly updated so as not to lose headcanons in an endless feed of full reblogs.
Enjoy reading! 📚 ☕ 🍪
(*Some asks from people and anons include characters from the vanilla game and mods at the same time, so headcanon links will sometimes be repeated in the lists)
A short headcanon about adventurers/mages and their worst fears
Lance: water. Drowning, to be more precise. There was an unpleasant incident during one of the guild initiation trials that nearly cost him his life. He’s better now, but that fear still comes back sometimes when he has to use magic to dive deep into the water.
Isaac: losing someone close to him… again. Maybe that’s why he’s rather cold even toward his friends and tries not to get too attached to anyone. Because going through the loss of someone close to him all over again…
Camilla: aging. She understands that there’s no point in fearing the inevitable, but she still panics whenever she notices wrinkles on her face or a gray hair, immediately covering them up with makeup or magic.
Alesia: the basilisk. Under the command of her guildmaster, she and her fellow adventurers encountered an entire nest of these agile and deadly creatures. Half of the warriors, including the guildmaster, died from their wounds; the other half died shortly afterward from the basilisk’s venom. Alesia miraculously survived. But that fear remained...
Jadu: darkness + being walled up alive in the dark. He’s always eager to fight if it’s in open terrain, but when offered the chance to visit some tomb... Because in the worst-case scenario — a slow death in pitch darkness with no chance of escape, and he’d go mad before he died of hunger and thirst.
I'm working on the last request (the one I received before I closed my askbox back in February), and I'll probably take a break for an indefinite period until I sort out my work situation and other personal matters.
Thank you so much to everyone who sent me requests, it was fun to write! ☺️💖 Hope to get back to my favorite hobby soon.
Mushrooms are an important thing in Castle Village; without them, life would be very difficult for the magical community. It serve as ingredient for important potions, a common part of the diet for adventurers and ordinary residents alike (especially when the harvest has been poor this season), a deadly weapon against enemies, and even home and other structures... if a wizard is skilled and powerful enough to create them. That’s why every mushroom has its purpose, why anyone who knows how to grow mushrooms for the village’s benefit earns the respect of the community’s residents. So, upon hearing about that very mysterious hero from the Stardew Valley — the place many call “paradise on earth” — who had begun supplying a whole heap of mushrooms for the village’s needs, and about the wondrous mushroom garden so tall they block out the sky, all the ordinary people, mages, and adventurers began discussing that hero with even greater fervor.
Meanwhile Farmer, who had bought a mushroom seed from Mr. Qi simply because they didn't know what else to do with Qi gems, planted the seed on their farm and left it to the whims of chance. A season later, they ended up with a massive mushroom forest — one that even talented witches and wizards, given conditions as favorable as those in Stardew Valley, would have taken years to achieve. Because why not, lmao.
The Farmer enters the outpost one day with a huge bag of mushrooms looking annoyed and begging adventurers to just take them all. "Just give me 5 gold or something. It rained in the Valley a few days ago and this things are everywhere now! I have more bags at home if you still want some."
There's a deep silence in the tower and the Farmer looks irritated at the adventurers around them. They all stopped whatever they were doing and were now staring at the bag of mushrooms spilling on the table. Lance approached the bag and was now staring at a large mushroom he picked from the pile. "Come on, you could at least make some stew out them or something. They're edible, I fried some yesterday and nothing happened. I just can't eat them all before they go bad and I already filled all my driers."
"You ate them?!" Hissed Isaac annoyed.
"Yes? What am I supposed to do with six wheelbarrows worth of mushrooms?" At that Isaac made an exasperated gesture with his hands and stormed out of the tower.
Lance chuckled at that. "You won't have problems finding a buyer for these type of mushrooms at any time in Castle Village but I would suggest you to be more careful about the price you ask for them. They are very rare."
Alesia, who didn't pried her eyes from the mushrooms until now stared the Farmer in the eyes. "They are nearly impossible to find, let alone in such quantities. It's a miracle if we can find enough to fill a basket in an entire year. How did you gathered this many?"
"I found a small yellowish mushroom growing on a rotting log in a swamp and brought it on my farm." Lets not mention that it was around the hut of Magnus's former wife. Or that it was the Goblin who told them it was a magical mushroom. "I recently refurbished my mushroom cave and wanted to see how mushrooms now grow in it. Then they somehow spread all over my farm apparently."
"And you just picked a random mushroom to test this and it just happened to be an extremely rare magical one at that?" Alesia went back to staring at the overflowing bag with distrust.
"Uhhhhh... yes? This isn't even the weirdest mushroom I tasted without knowing if it's poisonous." Lance just laughed at that.
Isaac, you're such a fool! Take advantage of Farmer's absurd luck while they're still offering it.
I can also picture the sad faces of some adventurers who are absolutely certain they'll be eating mushroom stew next month, lol. But hey, free mushrooms for elixirs.

For @studentinpursuitofclouds, who got me thinking of Isaance fight scene

It probably speaks to something about him, that even on his day off Isaac finds himself with his sword in hand.
That you need a hobby, a voice that sounds suspiciously like Alesia whispers, and have you considered making another friend?
It's just that running drills, wrapped in the blanket of silence in the empty training room, is soothing. Meditative, even, if he closes his eyes to train his balance. He can settle into his bones and sinew and let his mind...turn off.
This is his first mistake.
He's startled from his reverie by a shuffling at the weapons rack, and when he cracks his eyes open to see the culprit, he knows the noise was on purpose. A courtesy to let him know that he was no longer alone, because Isaac well knew that Lance could be dead silent when he wanted to be.
Isaac waits.
Lance says nothing, trailing a graceful hand over the training weapons until he settles on a sword similar to the one fixed to his belt during patrols. Isaac watches, mouth suddenly dry, as he rests the flat of the blade on a finger and drags it forward until it's balanced perfectly. He looks up, meeting Isaac's gaze with traces of satisfaction in the press of his lips and a challenge in the slight tilt of his head.
"How about it?" He asks, eyes unyielding over the length of his blade. Isaac stares at him for a long, long moment.
"Fine," he mutters, and stalks over to swap out his own blade.
This is his second mistake.
The training sword is almost unsettlingly light, but no exercise is worth the risk of bloodshed. Or the hours he'd have to spend sharpening it afterwards.
Isaac stalks back to the center of the floor, purposefully turning his back to Lance shedding his outer layers. A beat longer for Lance to follow, and with a small nod, they're moving.
Almost immediately they're shockingly in sync, trading neat paries and sweeping blows like cards in a game of poker. Even if they've never faced off before, they've spent hours watching each other's backs from the outpost. Isaac knows Lance avoids taking head on strikes, so he focuses on keeping a steady base and wearing down his endurance; Lance anticipates it and challenges his footwork.
It's oddly exhilarating, and for the first time in possibly a decade, Isaac finds himself feeling just a hint--
playful.
And then Lance grins at him something feral, and with a graceful flick of his wrist, the room fills with a blue smoke.
"Cheating," he observes more than accuses, and of course, Lance rises to the bait.
"It is your fault, really, for not declaring any terms," Lance cracks back, and it's enough. Instead of turning to face him, Isaac throws both his sword and his caution to the wind and thrusts backwards, using one freed arm to strike at Lance's sword hand and his other to launch an elbow into his gut.
It's probably more from surprise than the intensity of his hits, but it's enough to get Lance to drop his weapon. Isaac takes hold of his outstretched wrist and swings his leg back, sweeping Lance's front foot out from under him, and uses his captive arm to lever him to the ground.
The obvious move is to follow him down and use his advantage to go for a hold.
This is his third mistake, because halfway to a wristlock, Lance's eyes flutter halfway closed and Isaac can feel his slow exhale, and he becomes violently aware of their position and how everywhere their bodies are pressed together burns.
For just a moment, he forgets how to breathe.
And of course, it's enough time for Lance to find leverage and flip them over, and this is so much worse because Lance is leaning over him, chest heaving, hair falling over his eyes and his smile wicked, and very, very much clutched between Isaac's thighs.
Isaac does what Isaac does best: let's his higher functioning retreat and his instincts take over. Without a single thought he's gripping and arm and throwing his legs into a textbook arm bar. He doesn't exhale until he feels Lance tap out against his calf.
