Oh, fun! I've been secretly been wanting to receive this message… :)1. Both of my parents are from San Jose, Costa Rica. They have known each other since they were 5 years old and started dating in their teens. They came to the states in their twenties. I was born here in Connecticut, and have visited Costa Rica twice. All my family lives there, there are very few relatives that live in CT.
2. I love to travel, and wish I could do it more often. When I'm older the bulk of my money will most likely go to travel and concerts. I LOVE going to concerts, another thing I wish I could partake in more often.
3. People who chew with their mouths open and use their iPad's as cameras in public (not simultaneously) are two of my biggest pet peeves. I know I sound weird.4. I'm a very shy person, although I've definitely come out of my shell over the years. I'm comfortable to an extent with my shyness, but sometimes I can be very self-limiting. It's a constant effort with just stepping out of my comfortability.
5. I like meeting new people, despite my shyness. I open up pretty easily as long as the other person is seemingly open. I enjoy keeping in touch and checking in with my friends, even if we're not super close.
6. I love the city, but I also love the quietness of living in a rural town. I think I'll live in the city (NYC) for awhile when I'm done with all my college work, and then just eventually when older move to the suburbs or somewhere rural (I'm thinking Nashville). 7. I've changed my major twice since being in college. It's been tedious at times and very discouraging, but I think it's more important to choose what feels right. I want to do something with my life that will make me happy and not miserable, and give me a lot of options. It's just taken me more time, and thankfully my parents are in no rush to get rid of me and are very understanding.8. I love movies. I love knowing about the behind-the-scenes/"the making of" kind of aspect. I like knowing about the actors involved. I frequent the trivia section of any given movie on IMDb quite often. But as much as I love film and cinema, I would never pursue a career in that field. I like it too much for my own nerdy enjoyment.9. On the drive up with my best friend on the day we met Bradley Cooper, I got a speeding ticket in very rural Massachusetts. My parents found this humorous. I've also since had my car towed once with that same best friend (I cluelessly parked somewhere I shouldn't have) and this was after the Black Keys concert. And I also have received a speeding warning on a separate occassion (it was a school-zone, whoops).
10. These are kind of long, but I'm running out of things to say.. uh. I'm left handed, I was born at exactly 11:11pm, I was an only child for 9 years of my life until my brother was born…. ok I can't think of anything else remotely interesting, bye!
