can i just say, im still so emotional abt there being a dutch song in the grand final, a song thats so loved and not despite it being in dutch but sometimes even because of it? ive spent so much of my life internalizing the idea that anything but english/romance languages are ‘ugly’ which is stupid as hell! im so proud to see people love a song in my native language and see it do so well!
