Another case of: I don't think I've ever seen that LOM artwork before -

Now, I'm not sure since I don't have this book myself, but it sure looks like a Shinichi Kameoka illustration, and I think this might be the only time I have ever seen young Daena, since her past self doesn't actually appear in the Star-Crossed Lovers arc.

The caption says this was an illustration from the novelization. Ah...the bane of my existence...*shakes fists against JP-only releases of already obscure media*.

But from what I do know, there was a fairly recent novelization of the game released close to or alongside The Teardrop Crystal anime's release, but I'm not sure if the book featured above is that novelization, or there is another publication I'm not aware of. If anyone is curious, I saw a listing for the 2022 novelization here on the Play Asia website, but I think it is only in Japanese though.
