The evening started with rains, making our plans go haywire. But we still decided to take chance and venture out. L How do you expect to see a #Rainbow if you are not willing to get wet? A small price to pay to see the most perfect rainbow I have ever seen. No need to say that this is super tree grove #gardensbythebay in #Singapore. . . . . I am not an early sleeper, nor an early riser. So the best use I have for my Insomnia is to take out my camera and click in the night. The night in a city gives a totally different picture and the #Nightscape is often more magical than what you see in the day. This one was clicked in #Singapore from @sofitelsingaporesentosa on the last night of #Escapers17. These lights and chimneys in the harbor are pretty far from the hotel and I actually used a 300 mm lens to get close to them. What is your favorite time for photographing a city? We were #OnAssignment for #Escapers17 - To make Lephet Thoke or Pickled Tea Leaf Salad a Burmese delicacy. The Challenge? We need to buy the ingredients on our own from a local #Street market. None of the local vegetable sellers, majority of them women speaks any English, and my Burmese is same as good as my Russian that is zero. What do I do? Well, I forget about the assignment & just smile my way using sign language & start clicking portraits of the #women vegetable sellers. I must say that #HumansOfMyanmar are absolutely wonderful and kind and they enjoy being photographed. While I am back home but I have so many stories to share that you will hear more about my visit to #Myanmar. Watch this space. (at Inle Lake)
