I've been watching this series called "Escaping Polygamy" and holy shit, it's so good. I can't stop watching.

For anyone who wants to watch it, I will say viewer discretion is advised. Definite trigger warning for a couple topics. If you do not like hearing about all types of abuse, r*pe, incest, brainwashing, cults/religious cults, and stuff along those lines, this series is not for you.

I am so fascinated by this show that is currently opening the world’s eyes to what really goes on behind closed doors in some of the country’s largest and most corrupt polygamous cults. These three girls have endured half a lifetime of unfathomable abuse from the polygamous group in which they were raised: The Kingston Clan. They all share the same father, John Daniel Kingston. As young girls, they made a pact to one day escape to a better life where they could be free to make their own choices. Now they are committed to helping others escape polygamy.

Escaping polygamy is about the flds church it is not about loving consenual polyamorous relationships it's about arranged incestous forced polygamy and while it sucks that it gives polyamorous people a bad rap it's shedding a light on the rampant abuse in that "religion" and is not about poly relationships
