I hate how every time a kid-friendly game that includes romance comes out (recent example: Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream), and fans express a desire for polyamory in the game, polyamphobic people come out of the wood works to say "Don't do that, that's a game kids play!"
Minors can be polyamorous. Minors can have polyamorous parents or other relatives. Minors are not harmed in any way by exposure of polyamory. I knew I was polyamorous by the age of 12. I felt extraordinarily othered by the lack of representation.
Polyamory isn't inherently some super explicit NSFW thing.
It's literally no different from the "don't let same-gender relationships exist in video games!" argument.

Summary: A look at your life with your eight mates.
You were a part of a strong pack. A pack that also just happened to be mates. They were your mates, they were each other's mates, and you were their mate too. Finding the pack had been almost too easy. You had presented about a year before you met your first mate.
You thought the day would be like any other. You were out for a walk to clear your mind. You hadn’t been paying attention to the things around you, earphones in, music blaring, as you nodded to yourself. You had been in the park when a body slammed into yours, causing you both to tumble to the ground.
“Ouch!” You had cried out as you moved one hand to your tailbone, as your other hand took out your earphones. You looked over at the male across from you. He adjusted the glasses on his face and let out a soft whimper.
You both looked at each other. ‘Mate.’ You wolf yipped gleefully in your mind.
The male blinked. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.” He told you quickly.
You stood up, dusting yourself off as you held a hand out to the male. “It’s alright. I wasn’t looking where I was going either.” Your voice was comforting, reassuring. The male took your hand and let you pull him up.
Omega. He was an omega. Why was he alone? He shouldn’t be alone, and that made you worry.
You shoved your earphones in your pocket as you looked at the male. The omega bit his bottom lip as he looked at you.
“Please tell me you heard it too?” The brunette asked you, full of hope.
You couldn’t help but smile. “That you’re my mate? Yeah. Trust me, my wolf is very happy right now.”
The male bounced lightly, clearly happy. “Just wait until you meet the others. They'll love you.” You couldn’t help but smile.
“Others?” You asked, raising an eyebrow.
The omega nodded bashfully yet somehow still enthusiastic. “Yep. My other mates. There’s Chan-Hyung. He’s our pack alpha, and then there’s Changbin-hyung. He's a beta. And then there’s Innie, who hasn’t presented yet.” He explained to you.
Your eyes widened slightly. He had three other mates? It wasn’t unheard of; it wasn’t necessarily uncommon. You had heard of packs being formed only of those who were mates with each other—a polyamorous pack.
“Ji!” A voice came as a male made his way over to the two of you. He was shorter than you, strong and very, very pretty. “We’ve been looking for you everywhere, you know you’re not supposed to be out and about alone.”
Ji blushed and wrapped his hands around the male’s bicep. “I’m sorry, Binnie. I kind of got distracted. But it’s fine because I found our mate.” Ji said, gesturing dramatically towards you.
Changbin looked at you. ‘Mate.’ his wolf told him. He smiled at you and held out a hand. “Hi, I’m Changbin.”
You spoke your name and shook his hand. Jisung grinned as he looked between the two of you. “Come on, Hyung, we should introduce her to Channie and Innie. They’re gonna be so happy.”
Changbin shook his head lightly. “Ji, she might be busy. We can exchange numbers and-”
“Actually, I’m very free right now. I’d love nothing more than to meet the rest of your pack.” You explained with a shy smile on your face.
Jisung grabbed one of your hands. “Our pack.” He said excitedly. He grabbed Changbin’s hand and excitedly began walking off in the direction that Chan and I.N were.
You smiled as you walked. You were sure your life with this pack was going to be amazing.
Over time, more mates were found. You and Chan had found Felix. I.N had found Hyunjin, Han had found Minho, and Changbin had found Seungmin. The pack was split evenly. Chan was the pack alpha with Minho, another alpha being his right-hand man. Jeongin had presented as an Alpha, which didn’t really surprise anyone. Changbin was Chan’s left-hand man and was the head Beta. You and Seungmin were the two other Betas in the pack. Lastly, there were the three omegas. Hyunjin was the head omega. Han and Felix were also omegas.
When you woke up in the morning, you smiled, feeling arms around you. You had crawled into bed with Jeongin last night, having wanted to feel close to one of your Alphas. Felix had also had the same idea, so he was quick to join you both. Felix had slept between you both. Jeongin had slept, so he was closest to the door.
It was something the Alphas always did. They always slept closer to the door; it was their way of protecting whoever was in bed with them. The Betas also did this when an Alpha wasn’t present, but an Omega slept in their room. The house was safe, of course it was. But it was just for a just-in-case type of thing.
You opened your eyes slowly and blinked. You looked at Felix for a moment; he was snuggled close to you, his head on your chest as he slept. You then turned your head to look at the Maknae, who was pulling on a shirt.
He looked at you and smiled. “I’m heading to the gym with Chan-hyung, Binnie-hyung, and I think Hannie is coming too.” He whispered to you, and he watched you both for a moment.
“Do we get kisses before you go?” You asked hopefully with a teasing smile on your lips.
Jeongin looked at you and smiled lightly. “Only because you’re both cute.” He said. He leaned on the bed a little and kissed your lips before kissing Felix’s forehead. Jeongin pulled away and put on his hoodie before grabbing his bag. “I’ll see you later, I love you.”
You smiled sweetly at his words. “Have fun at the gym. I love you too.” You waved at him with your free hand. Jeongin waved back before exiting his room and softly closing the door behind him.
The room was quiet. You held Felix close to you as you enjoyed the quiet and the warmth. You carefully grabbed your phone off the bedside table and scrolled through it for an hour before Felix woke up.
He snuggled closer to you as he looked up at you. “Morning.” He spoke, his voice deep.
“Morning, baby.” You kissed the top of his head and held him close.
Felix looked around for a moment before looking at you. “Where’s Innie?” He pouted.
“He’s gone to the gym, bub. He’ll be back later.” You explained with a sweet smile. The door to the bedroom opened, and in stepped Hyunjin.
“Min says to wake up! Breakfast is ready!” The omega spoke excitedly.
Felix raised a hand. “Come here, Jinnie.” He said, causing the taller male to walk over. You grabbed his bicep and pulled him onto the bed, causing Hyunjin to let out a shocked yelp. You wrapped your arm around him and held your two omegas close to your body.
“Babe, we need to go before Minho-hyung comes to find us.” Hyunjin whined out, though he snuggled closer to your body.
You shook your head. “No, I wanna cuddle with my omegas." The two looked at each other and smiled before cuddling close to you.
“All we need now is Ji.” Felix giggled. You nodded in agreement. It would be nice to have all three of your omegas in your arms, but sadly, you couldn’t.
The bedroom door opened, and there stood Minho, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the three of you for a moment.
“Hyunjinnie-ah, didn’t I tell you to come get them for breakfast, not to join them?” He asked the tall omega.
You shook your head quickly. “It’s not his fault, I pulled him into bed, just wanted to cuddle with my loves.” You pouted, hoping to get the three of you out of trouble.
Minho shook his head at you as he approached the bed. “I should have known it was you, troublemaker.” He reached out and grabbed your ankle, pulling you down the bed to him. “Get up and come downstairs or you’ll be sleeping alone tonight.”
You let out a whine as you sat up a little, leaning back on your elbows. “You can’t do that.” You told him. He can’t just take away your right to sleep in the arms of your mates.
“Wanna test that theory, Beta?” He asked as he tapped your ankle before letting go as Felix and Hyunjin sat up, enjoying the little show.
“No. We’ll get up.” You sighed softly as you looked up at the older male.
“No, what?” He asked you, a smirk on his face.
You let out a huff and puffed out your cheeks slightly. “No, Alpha.” You replied.
Minho nodded, satisfied. “Good, now get up.” He turned to walk to the door, but you were quick to sit up and grab his hand. This caused Minho to turn to look at you.
“Kiss? Please? I think the omegas deserve a kiss too, ya know? Because we love you and you love us,” You grinned up at him.
Minho smirked at you for a moment and let out a small but exaggerated sigh. He walked closer to you and pecked your lips before repeating this with Felix and Hyunjin. “I want the three of you downstairs in the next five minutes.”
Hyunjin nodded his head lightly. “Don’t worry, Hyung. We’ll be down soon.”
Minho shook his head and left the room, leaving the three of you to get ready.
Breakfast had gone well. It tasted amazing as it always did. Minho did cook it after all; Hyunjin had helped. You were currently in the backyard running away from Jisung, who was throwing snowballs at you. It had been snowing outside, so you. Seungmina and the Omegas had decided to all just have some fun. Minho claimed he would join you all once he finished texting Chan about what he needed to pick up from the store on his way home from the gym.
You let out a scream of shock as Seungmin got you.
“Ya! We’re meant to be on the same team!” You yelled out in disbelief.
“We were losing.” Seungmin told you with a shrug of his shoulders.
Your jaw dropped. “Kim Seungmin, I’ll get you for this betrayal.”
“Yeah? You and what army?” He asked tauntingly as he and the omegas all got you with their snowballs.
Then all of a sudden, a snowball hit Seungmin in the back.
“This army.” Came Chan’s voice as he, Minho and Changbin all stood side by side, each holding a snowball.
Jeongin came out of the house as he put on his gloves. “ATTACK!” He screamed before running forward. He turned around, scooping up some snow and quickly turned it into a ball before throwing it, hitting Minho square in the chest.
“It’s so on, baby Alpha.” Minho called out as he ran forward with a vengeance in his eyes.
Changbin ran over to you and smiled as he handed you a snowball. “Don’t worry, we’ll show them what a strong Beta team can look like.” You fist bumped before you leaned down slightly to kiss his cheek.
And so you were all at war. You, Changbin, Chan and Minho versus Jeongin, Seungmin, Hyunjin, Han and Felix. As the snowball fight continued, you all had a lot of fun. At one point, Felix dragged you off with him to make snow angels, whilst Han made snowmen. Seungmin actively stole Changbin’s hat to put it on one of the snowmen.
Eventually, the fun came to an end as Minho and Chan both agreed it was time to go inside and warm up. So you all did. You went inside and had a nice warm shower, a shower that you ended up sharing with Seungmin.
When you were done, you put on some comfy pyjamas before heading to the den, where you all drank some hot chocolate that Felix and Chan had made together. It was perfect. Of course, it was. Your mates made it. You all sat around together, talking. You were sitting between Jeongin’s legs, leaning back against his chest.
The room was warm, but not overly hot. It was comfortable and filled with love. You drank the last of your hot chocolate. You watched as Changbin got up to collect the cups, it was his turn to wash up. As he and Seungmin went off to wash up, the rest of you made your way to the pack nest.
Chan laid down, wrapping an arm around you as he held you close. Hyunjin snuggled close to your chest. Behind him was Jisung, their legs entwined as Jisung laid his head on Minho’s chest. Jeongin laid with his head on your thigh. Felix was comfortably laying on the youngest alpha’s chest. Changbin and Seungmin rejoined the cuddle pile.
Changbin lay down beside Minho. Seungmin lay on top of Changbin, one hand gently resting on Minho’s arm. Everyone was close. Everyone was warm thanks to not only the body heat but fire from the fireplace. You were all safe, all together. Ready to have a nap.
