My relationship with otherkin identity is... Weird. Not always complete. Not always fitting.

Spacekin? Space is nice and comfortable, sometimes I feel like an alien who is gazing the whole vast universe and the Earth specifically...

But I don't like space tech. Not my vibe.

And yet I like other tech! All this machinery, digital world, computers, phones, cameras, stuff... It's awesome!

Catkin? I've felt this connection for years without knowing what it is. But I feel more like a catgirl than a cat. How.

In the end it all leads to the escapismkin. To the identity I coined merely for myself because it's the most correct way to connect everything together.

Greetings! This blog is created by an anonymous person who wants to express some personal parts of themselves. It's my comfortable way.

★ I'm plural, but I don't call myself a system for personal reasons. I'm quoigenic: I don't know what exactly my origin is, and I don't want to talk about it. I'll try to keep this blog syscourse free.

These days I really want to visit some empty spaces. Close to liminal, even.

I want to visit places where I can explore freely, touch everything, capture the beauty of quietness.

I want to have a change.

But all I can have now are places full of loud people, and I'm tired.

Searching through alterhuman and otherkin tags, of course I see a lot of 'common' kins like animals (including mythical creatures), deities, angels, demons, etc.

I have nothing against it, nothing, it's cool, I'm a catkin myself, but it's a part of my main escapismkin which... Is kind of unique here. I haven't seen escapismkins anywhere. Sure, I also have a dreamkin and identify myself as a creature from dreams, but it's my somewhat unique way too. Dreams are just a part of escapism for me.

It feels lonely a bit. Just a little bit lonely.

I was going to make a whole post about my alterhumanity, but I procrastinate too much. So, short explanation!

Escapismkin is, obviously, conceptkin of escapism. For me it means not only indulging in escapism (it's my coping mechanism and I cannot imagine myself without it), but also helping others feel better! I have a desire to give people comfort when they need it, to distract them from stressful reality we all live in. It's not just escaping reality, it's also being a guide for others.

Honestly, it's deeply personal. Escapismkin is also a combination of my other kin identities. I'm a dreamkin, I questioned spacekin, but these are just parts of the whole. The whole urge to escape reality and experience beauty of other places where we are not present.

Anyways, an important note: I'm absolutely for healthy escapism. Okay?
