I know Måneskin are a really good band, their sound is amazing and they're hot as fuckkk, but what inspires me the most about them is their authenticity. For the first time I'm a fan of a band with people that are my age, and they're free. They do what they want, dress however they like, say whatever goes through their minds. They used to mind what other people thought about them, but not anymore. They know exactly who they are, and they live by that. And I didn't know it before, but I really needed a role model for this kind of acceptance in my life. Hearing them play and speak and just go crazy without minding what people thought was so meaningful, it gave me the courage I needed to start making an effort towards being free of what other people think of me. It's fucking hard as hell, but they gave me the push I needed. And for that I'll be forever thankful to them. Its not going to be a day to night change, but I'm going to be successful. Who cares what people think about my height, my body, the way my butt looks in my jeans, the shirts I wear, how my hair looks down? Let's stop living and making decisions based on how people may perceive us. Let's be free, do and wear what we like, take up space and listen to good music. Let's take the example Måneskin are giving us and change the way we live. Fuck being quiet and afraid of what others think. Let's do our thing, each one of us.
