20, 42, and 65 for the get to know your fic writers asks?

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Lol absolutely. There are definitely certain words I gravitate toward, certain sentence structures (especially when it comes to dialogue), and I love stories that really play with audience awareness vs character awareness. In general I think the role of perception and perspective is really fun to explore, how assumption form those perceptions and are challenged, how it plays out if someone doesn't have the same assumptions as you...

Also, I am apparently a contrarian by nature, because I have yet to encounter a silly crack concept I don't write very seriously, or a serious emotional concept I don't turn into a sex comedy lol

42. What’s the last fic you read? Do you recommend it?

Once and Future by CSHfic and VSfic, which is a Merlin fic, which I have never read before, nor have I watched the show, but I adore their writing and also time shenanigans so I still had a great time with the story.

65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

So many things! But I've been kicking around and have started getting into some real outlining of a canon AU that is fairly Zuko and Aang focused and that starts to do some real plot divergence, which is new for me within canon (so exciting!) and will have lots of Aang POV (also new! exciting!) and involves Zuko being the semi-willing host of the Blue Spirit (super fun!).

Which gets us lots of fun themes and parallels between Aang and Zuko about like being the host of a soul other than your own, and what it means to form your own identity, and also the Blue Spirit is a chaos mischief gremlin with his own agenda and wants and opinions on everything (and probably POVs! Fun!) so how do you trust your own impulses vs the voice in your head (especially after a recent possession...)

It will probably be a multi-chapter longfic kind of situation, I'm really excited for the way the planning is coming together though :)
