Eska and Desna Relationship Headcanons (GN S/O Edition)

Eska

Okay, I'm gonna be honest with you.. Eska didn't learn a damn thing from her last relationship. At least- for the most part she didn't, she's less willing to get married or engaged so quick now at least, partially also because she's one of the Co-Chiefs of the Northern Water Tribe now but also just because she isn't stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.

Even if you aren't to expect anything like her offering overly romantic dinner displays or to cuddle as you two read a book or anything, she certainly does feel a strong amount of affection for you. This is displayed in her dragging you around with her a lot, she likes to spend time with you, plus she just likes to make sure your safe.

Gifts are also something she's rather strong on, she really isn't going broke anytime soon so expect your bedroom to be lined with stuffed animals, jewlery, expensive fragrances, among many other frivolous things that you might expect to recieve.

She's rather adamant on you adjusting to her and her country's aesthetics if your not from there, if you are then you'll still be adjusted some.. Since yknow, you're hanging out with royalty now, she can't have you looking lower class now.

Even though she isn't the most physically affectionate person she will always tolerate it, even sort of likes it sometimes.. Stuff like having an arm wrapped around her arm, or being clung to in general since it makes her feel valuable.. Liked. In night she might reciprocate, hold on tight and refuse to let go.

Even if she didn't learn much though she does do less dramatic things to you, no making you bow or anything.. She just sorta grew out of that.

Desna

Desna is a very calm to have boyfriend, he's rather low fuss comparative to his sister but that doesn't mean he does nothing or anything.. The two just have different styles in expressing their affection for the most part, with Desna being more traditionally good at relationships than her..

Well comparative to her at least, he's still not the cande-lit dinner type too, you can't say he's fully normal with relationships flat. Desna is a fan of going out with you just to look without explicit purpose, he likes spending quite a bit of his time just existing and appreciating that he can do just that. And he likes you existing too, so now you're included on this little hobby.

He does gift giving too though, moreso stuff like clothes and things he remembered hearing you say you want or needed- he has an amazing memory for stuff like that. Also likes to hand make things sometimes if he knows how to, then it feels more thoughtfull based off what he feels and heard.

He also likes things like shared spa activities and whatnot? Odd to mention but he just really enjoys feeling clean, can't stand being dirty at all and that sort of transfers onto you, even if he isn't one to nag or anything like that over it. All this special treatment keeps his skin soft.

Oh another thing, (and this applies for Eska too) he will absolutely and without hesitation leave you if he senses his sister hates you or if you are mean to her, won't be shocked if she isn't the biggest fan at first (since she likely won't) but if she like actually hates you? You're out of here. If you aren't good to Eska? You're gone. You are high value to him but at the end of the day the twins matter a lot to eachother.

Not much of a cuddler either, he's open to you sleeping with him but whether you want to or not depends on if you can tolerate sleeping in a bathtub as he prefers to do such. He likes being physically near but doesn't care whether or not you want to touch him, he's tolerant of any kind of touching really whether you jump and cling onto him or poke him.. He might judge you a little, but no hard feelings or telling you to stop. A calm soul.

Ever had a distant relative send a gift and your mom made you take a picture with it to show you loved it or something? This is what this picture makes me think of. I've been wanting to jump back into drawing more of these two because I've not been drawing a lot lately in general. I have to admit, I'm a hobby hopper. In my head they received these fans from another nation, maybe Fire Nation or Earth Kingdom. What's funniest to me is how pointless the fans are in the tundra (I mean maybe it gets hot, and it's cool decor, but definitely I can imagine they would find more use out of them in the EK or FN) Even though he looks the most bored, I bet Desna actually loves the fans because they're very intricately made, I imagine he's the artistic type. Eska likes them but didn't understand the need to take a picture about the gifts.

I also figured to how to do timelapses in CSP, I had no idea it had that ability, I am excited to show my 2 days of work within the span of 30 seconds.

I genuinely hate when people try to deny that the twins care about Korra. So many people say they hate her when they don’t. They literally legalized same sex marriage in the northern water tribe after they found out she’s dating Asami. They care about her in their own way even if they don’t show it.
