Esme let out a small hum. “I just want to cozy up in bed while I eat candy and have a Halloweentown marathon. Is that too much to ask?” She pondered as everyone else seemed to want to go out and party. Esme was in more of a staying in mood and she was hoping not to do it alone. “What do I have to do to convince you to hangout with me?”

Esme sat at the coffee shop and waited for Wyatt to arrive. She had come early, and was seated at the table closest to the window. Esme had her book open, and periodically looked around to see if her companion had arrived. When she heard someone approaching, she sent Wyatt a soft smile.

Esme spent way too many nights in the library. At this point if someone was trying to find her, this would be the first place they should logically look. However, tonight she had outdone even herself. It was dark out, the sun having set many hours before. Yet here she was with books in her arms. She looked through the stacks in a bit of a trance, looking for a particular book that she knew was in stock but didn’t appear to be in the right place. After some time, she found it, only to be interrupted by the shadow of a figure. Esme turned a bit startled, as she thought she was alone. “What are you doing here?”

Esme was lost in her book and didn't hear someone approach her. As she turned the page to start the new chapter she noticed the shadow of someone standing next to her. She looked up with a small smile on her face. "Oh sorry, did you need something?" Esme asked as she was unsure if they were trying to get her attention or not.

Esme’s sister had texted her earlier to ask her to drop by her place to pick up some important papers for her. So here she was letting herself into her sister’s apartment. What she didn’t expect was to find her roommate in the Livingroom with their pants around their ankles and their aroused member in their hand. “Oh jesus, I’m sorry.” She said, and looked away awkwardly. “My sister asked me to get something for her. I didn’t know you were home.”

“My usual coffee shop was closed today. Apparently they ran out of coffee beans. How does a coffee shop run out of coffee beans? It seems that whoever was in charge of ordering them has been neglecting to do so for a while.” Esme said, letting out a small sigh. “Anyway, where do you get your coffee? I need some suggestions.”

Esme found Laurel very cute, but she was far too shy to act on it. So instead she always found herself coming into the bookstore as an excuse to talk to the other girl. Today in particular she was determined to try to make a good impression. “So, I finished that last book you recommended and loved it. I was hoping you’ve got some more suggestions for me.”

Esme looked over at her friend as she tried to enjoy spending time with the other. Although for some reason she couldn't shake the feeling that the two of them were being watched. Of course logically Esme knew that wasn't the case. The two of them were here on their own. Weren't they? (@snowedpeach)
