" i didn't realize i was competing for your attention tonight. "
Kent sent her a smile. "I have eyes only for you."
Lottie let out an exaggerated sigh. She had some reservations about Christie adaptations too, but for Faith, she would hold her tongue. "Fine, let's go with Christie," she said. "How about the 2010 version of Murder on the Orient Express? Suchet is the most decent Poirot, in my opinion." She couldn't even finish the trailers for the newer films. Positively loathed them. "I'll grab some blankets." A few moments later, she was back with blankets for the couch. "Let's make ourselves comfortable."
Faith nodded her head at Lottie's words. "That sounds like a good choice to me." She said as she liked trying to figure things out. Faith was also pretty chill when it came to movies choices in general, and knew that Lottie cared more about that sort of thing anyway. "Yes, we can get comfy and cozy." Faith added as she made herself comfortable on the couch. "Let the fun begin."
"Yeah, absolutely." His heart was racing in his chest. Despite how turned on he was even now, he told himself to wait, to let her show herself to him first. Be cool, he thought. He leaned against the couch, trying to focus on her presence in front of him rather than the scenarios in his mind. "Do your thing, Mel."
Melody had watched enough movies to know how this was supposed to go. However, there was something very different when it came to watching something and actually doing it. She lifted her arms and slowly pulled her shirt over her head to show the lacy bra that she had picked out for the occasion.
She really enjoyed talking to him, it felt so natural to just talk. No awkward silence, no stammering. Just natural flowing conversation.
"College isn't about goofing off, I mean, there is no harm in having fun, I agree, but at the end of the day, you are there for an education." Quinn breathed.
She then nodded "I will definitely look into them, see how much they cost." She added. "Definitely would mean I can read in peace back in my room." She laughed.
"I never thought about that." She then mused as he mentioned what Lemons were used for. "Makes sense. Well she is lucky she has a big brother who watches out for her." She smiled.
Anthony nodded his head once more. It seemed that Quinn was level-headed. She seemed to have her priorities in order. "It's far too expensive to not take your studies seriously. I never understood people who partied so hard that they failed all of their classes."
"There is something to be said about being able to have peace." Anthony said as he knew it was not always easy to achieve. Life had a way of bring hectic.
Anthony sent her a small smile. "I just want to help make things as easy as I can. As the oldest, I will always look out for her and my other siblings."

"look-- i want to be wanted. i want to be adored. i'm not going to get into a relationship for some half-ass bullshit," cadence says, twirling the cherry in her cocktail. "if you wanna be with me, i gotta know that you're serious about this. that i'm not just another notch in your belt."
"I told you, I don't do serious." Isaac said as he liked to be no strings attached. He enjoyed fun and casual. That had always been how things were for him. Isaac wasn't sure that would ever change. "I thought I made it clear that this was just meant to be a little fun."
Ben closed his eyes for a moment as she settled against him, holding her a little tighter when he heard those words. The weight he'd carried for so long—the fear, the regret, the wondering if he'd lost her for good—seemed to ease. A soft chuckle escaped him as he rested his forehead against her. ❝ One day at a time. I can do that. ❞ His thumb brushed gently over her arm while he looked down at her, wanting her to see every bit of sincerity in his own. ❝ I know it won't always be easy. People are always going to talk. They're always going to have opinions about us, about our lives, about things they don't understand. But none of that matters if we keep choosing each other. ❞
Ben leaned in, pressing a lingering kiss to her forehead before pulling back just enough to smile at her. ❝ And for the record, there's never been a day where I stopped loving you. I tried to move forward. I tried to convince myself that losing you was something I could live with. But you were always there, in every song, every memory, every place that meant something to me. ❞ His hand found hers, intertwining their fingers. It had always been her, always would be her as he still had that damn ring in his side table he never got ride of.
"I know people are going to talk. That comes with being in the spotlight. I can handle people talking, as long as we are honest with each other and always on the same team." Skylar said as she knew that they were in the public eye. There was no avoiding people talking. If they were out in public together it was going to make a headline. Skylar knew that, and knew that she just needed to not read into what people were saying. "Other people's opinions don't matter. All I care about is the way that we feel about each other, and the people in our personal lives know that we care about each other."
Skylar could feel a warmness spread across her body at his words. Ben had always made her feel things that nobody else ever had. She loved him more than she ever knew was possible before she had met him. "I never stopped loving you either. I had to try my best to move forward with my life, but everything always led back to you. There was never anyone who ever compared, and nobody who will ever compare."
Baylor's chest tightened painfully at his words, and for a moment she just stood there looking at him like he'd handed her something far too fragile to hold. ❝ Jas, ❞ she said softly, shaking her head as emotion threatened to crack her voice, she couldn't talk anymore, couldn't find the words to reassure him, to tell him it's fine or that it wasn't fine. She forced herself to move then, reaching for his hand briefly before stepping toward the kitchen. ❝ Come on. Water first. We can figure everything else out later when you're not trying to drown me in honesty. ❞ The attempt at teasing was gentle, but her eyes lingered on him a second longer than they should have, making herself look away. Of course she still cared, still did love him.
To say Jasper was worse off without her was an understatement. He was a better person around her. But Jasper also knew it wasn't her job to save him. He needed to put in the work. Jasper was just too drunk for that sort of logic right now. He'd had a rough few days and had lead him into falling into old habits. Jasper took her hand. For now he was just happy that she was being kind to him. "Thank you." He told her in a soft voice. Jasper wasn't used to people taking care of him. He so long he had just been on his own. "I am sorry if I wrecked whatever plans that you had by showing up here when I did."
Rubbing the back of his neck, Orion let out a long breath. "I don't... I can't really explain it or what'll help." How could he phrase things so they'd make sense for Harper, when he didn't fully understand? "It's... It's a bit like being homesick." He sat back, arms crossed tightly in front. "But it's not just oh I miss my family or I miss this nostalgic rose tinted ideal of a childhood that was never real, it's..."
With a long groan Orion gave up on words and just tapped his fingers against his chest over is heart. "Something missing. And it gets loud near a full moon, like it knows you're alone." He smiled faintly over at Harper. "Yeah, not really sure how anyone can help with that."
Harper couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness at his words. She could understand loneliness as she'd moved away from home, but there seemed to be more to it than just that. Almost like he was looking for a way to belong. That was something else she could relate to in a way. "Have a ever told you that I am adopted? I know what it's like to feel like something is missing and like you don't feel fully like you belong. I know it might not be the same, but it's something. You aren't alone, I am here for you."
Harper wished there was more that she was able to do. "I know me being here isn't the same as family, but I will do what I can." She added as that was all she was able to come up with. "Maybe we need to distract you somehow." Harper added as it was the best idea she had.
a meekish grin grew on Hannah's face as her legs bowed and crossed together, slightly twisting her toes on the floor. "well, if you say so." her tone was kept quiet, like Hannah was afraid someone would hear them as she slowly grabbed the hem of her tight white tee and pulled it over her head, revealing a pink strapless bra before she slides her sleeping shorts off, dropping down to her ankles. "like this?"
Alexandria was glad that Hannah agreed to her request. She watched at she began to undressed. Alix smirked as she took in what she was seeing. "You are so beautiful." She said as she moved closer to Hannah. Alix ran a finger down the length of Hannah's waist. "I want to see all of you."

"i can't look at you the same anymore."
"You're acting as if I killed someone." Gemma said with a playful tone. "All I said is that I don't want to get Dairy Queen."
"Well I think it's because sometimes the wrong people become millionaires and rather spend the money on themselves or to get richer. I mean I'd want to make sure the people I care about are happy more than anything." She explained as she came back with a bottle of wine and two glasses. "To the start of our amazing girls weekend." She smiled, pouring out the wine and handing Evelyn a glass.
"That is true. A lot of people who are kind start giving away money long before their net-worth gets out of hand. I would definitely make sure everyone I care about was taken care of." Evelyn said as she knew that she couldn't stand being rich and knowing that people closest to her were struggling. She took one of the glasses from Olive. "To a fantastic time."
Odette felt her heart flutter at his words, that familiar warmth settling in her chest every time he talked about a future that included her. She could feel the bundle of nervousness sitting inside of her. He could hang out with anyone but he was sitting with her. People she dated in the past cheated or used her.. it didn't feel that way sitting here with him. ❝ Seth, I don't need grand gestures to know you care. I can see it with us hanging out. ❞ Her voice was quiet, sincere. She wasn't sure who was going to make the first 'big' move as each little move was putting them in a direction she felt like she was wanting. A soft laugh escaped her as she shook her head.
The mention of a bucket list made her grin widen, and she shifted a little closer without even thinking about it. ❝ A mini bucket list actually sounds kind of perfect. We could write down all the little things we've talked about doing and make sure we actually do them, add things we haven't even talked about yet too... whatever comes to mind. ❞ Her gaze lifted to his, warm and steady, all traces of teasing gone for once. Knowing Seth was going to be here for longer now, it got all the little butterflies fluttering around inside of her. She knew his job, knew that there would be weeks of not seeing each other, months even depending on her own life too. She wanted nothing more than to support him, maybe even wear a jersey with his name on it.
Seth nodded his head at her words. "Just because you don't need them doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice to give you one." He told her as he really was a romantic at heart. Not that he was entirely sure that was what Odette wanted from this, but he knew it was where his heart was leaning. Seth enjoyed her company and the way that she made him feel when he was around her. It was so nice to be able to just be himself and enjoy someone's company. "It's not like I can't afford it, and I feel that you are so deserving of someone making an effort with you."
Seth was happy with how excited that Odette seemed to be about their trip. He liked the idea of showing her where he grew up and all of the things that he holds dear. "A bucket list seems smart. We can slowly pick away at it between now and when we go." Seth said as it was giving him something to look forward to. "I know plenty of people are going to want to meet you. I've never brought anyone home before."
Even when Mason was one of the people in her small circle that she trusted, she still had a habit to hide things from those she loved. She always had an excuse for why she hid those secrets. Michelle always told herself she would change, that she would be more open yet, she always falls through.
She chuckled softly, nodding her head. "Yeah, it really was. Story of my life." She moved a hand through her hair, wishing in that moment that she could hug him.
"No, no. You couldn't have known. Last time you were here, I thought I was better and I didn't want to worry you over nothing. Nevertheless, I just wanted us to have a good time without putting my drama into it. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner."
Mason nodded his head at her words. He was sure that he would come up with questions for her as time went on, but he knew that right now probably wasn't the best time to get into it. Michelle likely still needed time to heal from everything.
Mason knew that she was right. There wasn't any way for him to know, especially with her so far away from him. "I just hope you know that whatever you need, I am here." Mason said as he wanted to be able to help her however he could. "I am just glad that you are doing better now."
Despite her being the one to push things forward, she's caught off guard by Esme's lips on hers- but only for a second. She eagerly returned the kiss, pressing forward just slightly- testing to see how far the other wanted to go.
Esme deepened the kiss. She enjoyed the feeling of Candice's lips on hers. She was lost in the moment and didn't want it to end. Eventually Esme pulled away, needing to catch her breath. "Wow."
Alec let out a quiet huff of laughter, nodding once. ❝ Yeah, can't really argue with that logic. Dead kind of takes all the fun out of winning. ❞ Though it was one of those things where he sometimes didn't care about his life at risk. His grin softened as he looked at them, hands slipping into his pockets. ❝ And you're right. Maybe the hardest part isn't talking, it's being willing to hear the answer. ❞ Alec was just use to running than facing the truth.
Lux was glad that Alec seemed to be listening to what she had to say. It was nice to finally be sharing their feelings. "So while I understand you aren't going to stop, at least keep that in mind." Lux said as it wasn't unreasonable to want him to try to stay alive. "Exactly, because you can't control what other people are going to say. You can only control how you react to it."
Bailey's smile widened, and for the first time in what felt like forever, the knot of worry in her chest loosened. ❝ Two to three a week sounds perfect. ❞ She gently twisted the edge of his shirt between her fingers, stepping just a little closer until there was barely any space left between them. ❝ And if we miss a week, we don't turn it into a fight or guilt. We just pick it back up when we can. ❞ Her eyes lifted to his, soft and warm. ❝ I don't really care how fast we get through Stranger Things, Raj. I just like the idea of having something that's ours again. ❞ A small laugh escaped her. She squeezed the fabric in her hands lightly before letting one hand slide up to rest against his chest. ❝ Thank you for trying. That means more to me than the show ever will. ❞
Raj was glad that they had this conversation. He just hoped that he would be able to hold up his end of the bargain. It would be harder to do some weeks than others, so he was glad that Bailey seemed to be understanding of that fact. "That sounds fair to me. I will make it a priority to me." Raj said as that was the most that he was able to promise her. "That is also good to hear, because I can't promise that I won't doze off every once in a while and make us need to rewatch an episode of two because I got lost." Raj joked with a small chuckle. "We can do this. I believe in us and I know we will get through this road bump."
Open starter: Open to any, @indiestarter Plot: Your muse wants Samuel to change them. Samuel is worried about what that means for them. They have been in a realationship for a few months now. He was comfortable in their current situtation. Would sireing them change things. what if they fell out of Love? Was it love?
"umm yeah about that" Samuel said looking at the other for a while. He didn't know what to say. I felt like saying no he would lose them. But saying yes felt like a commitment he may not be ready for. "it's not that I dont want too. Its just not that simple"
Sadie raised her eyebrow at his words. She had thought that they had been on the same page about it. "What do you mean it's not that simple?" She asked as she wanted Samuel to explain it to her. Sadie had made it clear to him that this was what she wanted.
