Similarities and differences between the two.

(CIRCUSGRAM Trial Three spoilers)

These two have never met prior to CIRCUSGRAM (unlike Ruby, Suki, and Iris), but their personalities, love lives, crimes, etc. are so similar.

Bugs are one of the biggest things with them. The emojis used to represent them are 🪲 for Esmie because she's a metaphorical parasite with how she loves, and 🕸️ for Iris as a spider. They're even referred to as "the bug girls" or "the bug duo" in the prison.

Another big thing with them is food. Esmie says in her trial one interrogation that her coping mechanism is baking. But she doesn't actually use it in the prison since the prison guide (Foxalope) can make the desserts she wants for her. Iris on the other hand, does cook frequently. She makes meals that fit her diet up until she was "FORGIVEN" and began starving herself. In Trial Three, she will focus more on making sure that Esmie is fed, considering she will no longer have to worry about the prison being split up like how it was in Trial Two.

During the second trial, both prisoners revealed their "end goal" for their relationships. They both want to get married to their partners, because they think it'll give them a "happily ever after" sort of deal. However, they both know this won't work. They don't deserve a happy ending, because they were both "UNFORGIVEN" in the First Trial, which led both of them to believe that their love was "wrong" in some way.

Anyway, I really like these lesbian bugs. I hope I can do them justice in T3, because they're not doing well.
