[Truthful Thoughts Thursday] #1 "Liar’s Weight”
Have you ever lied before? Most of us have at least once in our lives. People lie in fear, disregarding whether its for them-self or others, we lie to divert the fears that we come across. Lying at first feels like a shield with power to protect you from all harm, but as more fears that shield encounters cracks are easily collected, and you notice how fragile it really is. Desperate to mend that shield called “Lie” you make up more “Lies” to add, and before you realize it the shield’s way to heavy for you to carry. At this point you wish to abandon the burden of “Lies” and restart anew.. However the world does not work that way, the society labels the lies that you’ve manifested as a part of who you are. Bound by the chains of “victims” you have lied to, you suffer, struggle, and pay a heavy price of varieties of perpetual “Fear” and “Anxiety” much heavy than what you should’ve experienced in the past. Even the society upon discovering your shield, unimaginable prices are equally paid for all the betrayal you have done.

Have you ever lied before? If you did, are there people around you who still believes in your lies? If so, confess. Abandon the heavy shield and the chains and earnestly confess to seek the honest life, lying may seem sweet for the moment, but its pain is far to great. Don’t lie, for the consequence is not worth it. Don’t lie.

#1 "The Mathematician's Delusional Vegetarian Diet"
The Ancient Greek Pythagoras and his followers had a strange vegetarian diet regime consisting of beans only. It wasn't for healthy eating or animal compassion, but rather a strange belief that "It was the only way to ensure you weren't eating your grandmother or another relative, whose soul could have migrated to your neighbor's pig. The great mathematician's passion towards this diet resulted in him meeting his death defending a bean field.
