Ornamental linework has resonated with me on a physical level since before I was even getting tattoos. I love the way tattoos like this look. A couple weeks ago, Rob asked me to design some custom sigils for his fingers to spell out a secret word. I won’t tell you what it is, but I will tell you that I’m happy to design sigils that obscure actual words, or I can also work with more ethereal, abstract layers of meaning. It all depends on what you think would be empowering or significant for you to wear, leave the weirdo vision quest magic marking to me! Today I learned the glyphs of the planets are all composed of four esoteric symbols, and how they are composed reveal the planets nature.

The circle, the seed of life, the crescent, and the cross.

I also realized I just happen to have all four symbols tattooed on my body

Hard to get a good photo of this spot, at night, with whatever questionable lighting set up I clearly had going on here, but alas, I love this tattoo. Thanks David for the fun project. I really had fun with this design, and loved geeking out on all the weirdo esoteric details.
