In the Potager du Roi at Versailles: this is where Louis XIV's gardeners grew his veggies and fruit for the chateau. He even used to come down to the garden and pitch in sometimes. And despite various revolutions and wars, it's still there and still growing vegetables and fruit today! And completely organic and treatment-free. They just let the plants and bees take care of themselves. (Well, they cut and prune and harvest and plant, but they don't use any chemicals, even natural ones.)
