👫 FUCK IT Molly and Essek back at you HHDHSD
Send a 👫 and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship
The first few times Molly showed up at his place, he would send Caleb a Message very much in the style of missing child announcements in stores. He stopped doing it after getting used to him, and to the idea that for some reason Mollymauk did enjoy his company.
He's learned to appreciate Molly's particular brand of genius. Being almost illiterate doesn't stop him from having the wildest ideas and speaking them out loud, which often results in interesting points of view that Essek himself would have never considered. After a while, he may... start calling Mollymauk specifically to help him solve problems he can't find an answer to.
Sometimes Molly drags Essek out of his study and makes him teleport both somewhere fun. Street markets, festivals, and of course circuses — all the things Essek has never had a chance to experience, and Molly adores.
It took a while until Essek saw Molly fight for the first time, and he was understandably worried about the many scars through his body, especially every time he noticed one that seemed particularly fresh. He wouldn't bring up the subject, of course, but tried to be as tactful as possible in his presence. After he learned of his blood magic, he was... still a little worried, but in a different way. He would ask about his skills, although Molly probably couldn't give great answers as they came from Lucien anyway.
Bonus: Caleb introduces both to the concept of polyamory???
// I've been toying with the idea of '(unwillingly) consecuted Caleb meets Essek in his next life and lifespans are no longer an obstacle in their relationship now that it's basically become a reincarnation AU', which seemed like a wonderful 'good ending' idea until I remembered Essek is a dirty liar who's not yet consecuted and most likely will never be.
