There was something above Ionia that the fox could not have begin to wonder about. She could not fly so she could not see what was there but the magic that flowed from the place could be easily felt by the fox. Now, the power felt as if it was closer to her and the fox did not know if she should bow to such power, run from it, or stand her ground. - essencefox

The remaining stock in her food supply was depleting and the Sovereign did not have a choice but to descend on the ground below to do what she’s been doing before she entered the League; Hunt. She could simply warp herself to the many cities she has visited but she’d rather enjoy her time with nature. It was a better companion than her fellow human beings after all. So down Syndra went to a nearby river, planning to user her magic to catch the fishes living there.
